Sorry for the absence there, my cars engine blew up on me (Blew up in the technical sense, it didn't actually explode) and I was having a hell of a time trying to pay for the repairs, didn't really have it in me to focus on much else.
Anyway, unfortunately, over the course of this unforeseen issue, I've had several projects pile up on me that desperately need catching up on, so I'm only really popping in to say I'll be gone a bit longer while I work on catching up.
In the meantime though, I'll be dropping off a story and the setting map that a whole 3 people have been waiting with bated breaths for, I'm sure.

back again (DAMMIT!)

Sorry about this, but, as the title says, I've got to step away from the keyboard for a bit.
Unfortunately, work has gotten hectic at the moment, and it looks like it'll remain that way for another month or two, and in all the excitement so far, I've not had enough time to keep my backlog of completed stories up to date.
In short, work got heavy, and I don't have the time to write stories right now.

The project should conclude by mid-May, however I have a few other, personal projects I'm working on as well, so I should be back to posting again by the end of May, mid-June at the latest.

Damn, this is sad.
If you haven't heard the news yet, Akira Toriyama, the Japanese Mangaka responsible for Dragon Ball has passed away.
I've been a fan of his art ever since I first discovered Dragon Quest, a game series he provided the character designs for, in the early 2000's.

Rest in Peace you beautiful legend, you will be missed.

You may have noticed my absence again recently, or not, either way, the internet lumberjacks visited and cut down our WiFi, I managed to scrape together enough mobile data to access this site so I could leave this post, but the person who oversees our WiFi is being an ass about getting us a new plan, so there's no current ETA on when we'll have it back, :( don't worry though, I'm still plugging away at my keyboard, and I'll have a bunch of new stories ready to go when I get internet back, until then though, all I can say for now is, hope to see y'all soon.

The core reason for this, I believe, is my job, you see, in my previous job, I had one place of work, set hours and access to a break room, this meant I could turn up an hour early and sit in the break room writing stories every day, plus do some additional writing during my half hour break, however, this also caused me to associate ‘writing’ with...

First things first, sorry there's no story today, I know last week I said that work would be quieter this week, but the fun fact about a zero hour contract, is that they can throw more work you way at the eleventh hour and there's nothing you can do about it.
