Some of you know this already, but I took a break from vore art and RP for a couple months. Not anything bad, just needed to focus on fixing up the new house, doing the holiday thing, hanging out with some buddies I hadn't seen in forever, learning more about digital art techniques from my old drawing group, and surprisingly finding out a friend of a friend was into vore and is here on Eka. Hah!

I got full on stumbling drunk for the first time ever at a Christmas karaoke party, which was an interesting experience and the only reason that happened was because everyone at the party was someone I would trust with my life in a zombie apocalypse.

Apparently, this incident has gotten around a little through the grapevine...
First of all, thank you so much to everyone who sent concerned notes. And thank you to anyone who assisted and reassured me on chat that night (even if I was being a bit spastic.. sorry).

But not to worry! Kaldar and I are fine! We are okay!

So, what happened was... Tuesday evening, while I was home alone and Kaldar was out of town, there was a drive-by-shooting in front of our apartment building. We live in a fairly nice area of the city and nothing like this has ever happened in the many years we've been here, so I will admit I was thoroughly freaked out when I heard a car squealing up...

A week ago, if you asked me if I'd use a phone to draw, I would have said "For doodling ideas... maybe?" Cause that's what I told Kaldar.
(My hand was also still feeling like shit, so I wasn't really in the mood to think about drawing anything, anyway... hah. Thanks to everyone who gave their well wishes. My fingers are still a little grayish purple, but the swelling is gone and the u-shape of bite marks are disappearing.)

Fast forward a week. Fuck. My. Gods.

Hubby and I were out Pokenomming at the park. We caught our first Abra! And then an Ekans caught me...

My royal ball python was sitting on my shoulders enjoying the sun and she looked up at a bicycle passing by. I didn't want her to spook anyone walking along the path, so I went to guide her head back down, but I guess she got spooked instead, because she fucking bit my fingers! And danm hard, too! Full mouth, all teeth! Had to pry her off like it was the hardest Velcro known to man. LOL

And no, that has never happened before in the 15 years I've had her since she was a baby snake. And she is okay. Probably a bit stressed out and she lost a tiny tooth (I found it in my skin.. ...

I have... a few people... actually watching this sparse little gallery.
So, I guess I should say Hello! And Happy (Belated) Valentine's Day!

I have a few sweet, loving sketches of my dragon Chorl and some "chocolates" in the works, almost ready. Unfortunately, the ideas for them came to me on the day after Valentine's... so obviously they will be a bit late, but hopefully I'll get them cleaned up tonight or tomorrow. And by "tonight or tomorrow" I totally mean a week from now, right? We'll see how my spinal nerves are doing.
