Last update was an obvious April fools. I didn't really do an "official" correction like I normally would because I'm just all over the place at the moment. The blog has been updated to reflect that it was a joke, so... hopefully the people who thought it was serious will realize they've been bamboozled.

ANYWHO, for the real stuff...

Currently getting a lot comms, which, I'm gradually working through. After those are done, I'll work on the next YCH. Not sure exactly what that will look like yet, but... it's coming.

Also, at some point I'll be taking requests... kinda. Not open requests. But... it'll work like this: Since I've made so much improvement, and... since I haven't found a home for the old work yet... the "requests" will...

Obvious April Fools is obvious

As my brand continues to grow and gain broader appeal, I've decided to conform a more general audience. Therefore, the following policy will be put into effect:

No further art will contain themes of "sexual violence."
The following types of content will no longer appear:
- images depicting characters being harmed in any way
- images depicting characters engaged in aggressive sexual activity
- images depicting characters swallowed whole and alive
- images depicting characters being burned, in direct heat, or over a flame
- images depicting bondage, sadism, masochism or BDSM
- images depicting any fetish content

Since I think I've pretty comfortably slipped into the new style I've been working on, I'll probably be restructuring my galleries/folders. This has been long overdue anyway, since I wasn't particularly happy with how most of it is organized. I'm not going to delete anything but... I'll probably throw all of the older work into an "old work" folder and actually curate the newer stuff. The commissions folder will probably stay the same, although... I may give that a "pre/post" 2024 section as well.

While I'm at it, I'll probably change the theme/colors. Everything is still my mascot's old design, after all. Gosh, I really am rebranding in a way, huh? The timing works out perfectly for this, given it's the year of the dragon.

ANYWHO... not really much to share in terms of solid plans but... a few things on the horizon:

- Commissoin information update
This is long overdue. In the near future, I'll be updating my commission information as well as prices (with new art to showcase it all!). I'm going to try to keep everything mostly the same but offer new shading and style options. Since these look better and are slightly more work on my part, they will have a higher cost. I'll be making an announcement before the changes take effect and be giving a handful of people the chance to get a commission before the new pricing.

So... what's been going on with DJ lately? Well, I'm not dead but... maybe it's seasonal depression, maybe it's something else... I dunno. But, what I've learned is that... from about December to around March, I enter a pretty low productivity period. Going forward, I'm going to learn from this and prep some things in advance. Once I finish the current YCH and bust out some other owed work, I think I'm actually going to start banking projects ahead of time so I'm not as stressed about deadlines. IE, I have plans for both a Halloween and Thanksgiving thing... something that has been in the works for a while now... but... I only work on them during those months and never finish. This is going to change. Apologies to those waiting for the current YCH. It is currently being worked on.

So... I had planned on releasing a whole-ass comic this month that was Halloween themed. It's already all planed out, the rough concept of each page is laid out - the text mostly decided, and I was on pace to do it, too... but... something IRL happened and... well... things fell off rails. As much as I want to let you know and as much as I'm sure you all would mean well, I'd rather not go through it all again reading comments, so... I'll just leave it at that.

As such... I've decided that, instead of the big idea I had planned, I'll make sure we do something else. It'll either be a much shorter comic idea or a traditional Vore-Tan Halloween image. I already have a few ideas floating around in my head, but nothing concrete yet.

I have contacted Pixiv and added censorship to the offending works in accordance with Japanese censorship laws. The missing pieces will hopefully return, but... will of course be censored.
I've decided that, at some point, I'll just put all of the images I can't post here and get censored by pixiv into a single thread on baraag. But, again, this is going to take a while and is pretty low priority for me since I'd have to track down and fix all the broken links to the now censored works on Pixiv.

In the future, I think I'll be doing some kind of vote/request thing where, instead of going through the tedium of reposting old work, simply redrawing it so that it's up to the level I'm at now, and will be posted with the foresight of where it can and cannot be posted properly....
