Writing has been on the wall for the past few months. It's almost time to let my Patreon page go. I want to make sure to give complete details on the reasoning for this, what my future plans are, and of course to extend another huge thank you to anyone who has ever supported the page.

Why close the page? - As you may or may not be aware of, I got a new full time job over the summer that I quickly relocated for and has been in full swing since early August. It is a great opportunity that I believe will solidify my career going forward. That said, it is quite the adjustment and a lot to adapt to and keep up with and will continue to keep me busy for a while longer. And so another year comes to an end. To recap, this past year’s theme was “The Great OC Overhaul” and I while there’s still plenty of thing I had hoped to get to, I got most of the main things I wanted to hit like ref sheets and character bios. There’s still some leftovers that will be prioritized in the new year like a ref sheet/bio for my Dark Samus, then of course I still have ‘The Black Spring’ to keep working on.

Next year’s theme that I’d like to focus on will be VORE. While I’m still getting some vore comms here and there I’ve rarely drawn much of it myself for a while now. The main reason is most of my vore related ideas are of larger scale and I haven’t really been able to fit in such projects. I want to take next year to try to include more vore/absorption, even...

So I have discovered many things in the past few days. The most relevant to my viewers is that you have likely been seeing some off/muddied colors of my artwork all this time. The degree of how off they are seems to vary based on the folks I've polled, but for me on my Mac, now that I've seen it it's really off and I hate it. The good news is I now know how to fix it so the colors should look more accurate and consistent.

There's a lot of other stuff I've been looking into but the main unresolved issue is my drawing program is showing off colors when displayed on my drawing tablet, which is of course where most of my color choices happen. It's not that the screen's calibration is off, it's just the program switches colors when moved between screens and I can't seem to...

The end of the year is just about here, so let’s look back as well as go over some aspirations for the new year.

Year of the Vivi in Review-
As far as this year’s theme goes, I actually managed to get to just about all the main things I wanted to with Vivi, including new forms, some Monster Hunter stuff, designing her roommate Rosalind, and even put out a short story! I think the only new thing I had hope to get around to but didn’t was some Jellymon (from Digimon) shenanigans. One day! It has happened! As part of a collaboration/trade with Fatedmetal, a fully fleshed out story of Arezu offering herself up to Lady Lilligant has come to fruition! You might recognize the idea from my semi-recent sketch commissions. This premise and the general outline have buzzed around my head for months, so I'm very happy to see it brought to life so wonderfully~

Time for this month’s poll! So let me talk a little about my plans for the rest of the year. To make sure I have time for some stuff in December, there will not be a poll next month. As such I will put a pause on December’s billing. That makes this the last poll of the Year of the Metroid and I want to end things with a bang. This month’s options are all some large-scale phazon ideas I had built up over the year and it would be a shame not to do at least one of them. When I say large-scale I mean it. Hello everyone. I'm announcing that I will be pausing Patreon charges for the month of July.

I haven't been happy with my productivity this month and while the poll winner featuring Tifa is still coming, I'm no longer confident I can get it done by the end of the month. I will take July to handle some stuff, and take my time on some art pieces I want to have ready to go in early August.

To go over how paused billing works again, any current patrons will not be charged for July. Anyone who makes a new pledge during the month of July will be charged at that time. I will post an update near the end of July regarding August so everyone can plan accordingly.
