It happened again. I started something thinking I knew where it was going, but a few chapters into actually writing it, I realized it wasn't going anywhere. Thankfully, I'm only four chapters into Perfect Goddess, so restarting it shouldn't be that big of a deal.

This time, however, I want to explain WHY I'm doing a second draft.

1. THE VORE MECHANICS WERE BORING - This is probably the biggest reason. I was looking back at all the vore scenes and came to the grim realization that they were all samey and not very interesting. The girls only grew bigger after reaching a certain quota of absorptions, which is pretty damn boring. The idea was that it would become more interesting as the girls unlocked more powers to abuse, but this led to a second problem.

Sorry about the absence. Like I said, I can only write well if I'm actually in the mood to do so, and I haven't been much in the mood lately... until now! Unfortunately, I'm not yet in the mood to continue writing the Vorceress. I know, it's awful and so am I, but unless I actually feel like writing it, I just can't get it done. However, I am in the mood to write. Specifically, I'm in the mood to write stupid smutty stuff instead of fantastical and almost-thought-provoking stories such as the Vorceress or Predatory Beings.

Sooo... I'm making a sequel to the Court is in Your Balls! A surprising amount of people enjoyed it, and the things I set up left for some interesting potential, so why not? Expect it soonish.

I'm in a pretty good mood today. The weather is nice, there's food in the pantry and I just found out Gawker has filed for bankruptcy. Fantabulous! Obviously, I've been in a slump over the past few days as I've been trying to figure out what the hell I'm supposed to do next in regards to the current Vorceress arc. My mind has been wandering every direction except forward, and progress has come to an abrupt halt. In the meantime, I did manage to introduce Predatory Beings; a series I've been meaning to write for a while now. But in regards to the Vorceress, I can't help but look back at what I've written up until now and wonder where I could have taken it along the way.

I'm back, and writing! Oh, how I am writing. I managed to cap off the d'jinn arc, which wasn't easy and frankly left out a lot of the fun potential it had, but there were a lot of reasons why it was so much harder to write than I expected it to be. I've already got several more stories figured out. The next one in particular is gonna be really fun, trust me.
In the mean time, I've been looking back on the chapters I've written so far and seeing the spaces where they could use polish, or maybe even additional content. I did a word count and all eleven chapters so far add up to over 46,000 words, which constitutes a novel. Not a novelette. Not a novella. But a genuine novel. All I have to say to that is

Just wanted to post here and say I haven't been able to write up the latest chapter for the Vorceress, and I may not be able to do so for a few more days. I have a bad habit of getting into 'moods' for different things and only being able to concentrate on one thing that interests me at a time. When I started writing the Vorceress, I had gotten really into it and found myself immersed into the world and its setting for hours at a time. Naturally, I was churning out stories with vigor, but now my attention is drifting elsewhere.
I've been having trouble trying to decide how exactly the story should proceed from here. There are ideas I've proposed, but I haven't been able to settle on one I'm satisfied with. In the future, I'm going to figure out how a story arc is going to end...

I just wanted to take a couple of minutes to talk about the series, the purpose behind it, how it gets made and what I intend for it to be. When I have a lot on my mind, it really helps for me to write it all out to get my head straight. Thankfully for all of you, weird vore stories have been on my mind recently, and holy crap have I been writing a lot of it. Right now, I want to take a little breather and vent about the process in which I write these, as well as my hopes for where it goes. I find it funny how I can spend so much time writing stories about magical witches eating each other that I myself end up skipping meals. In the past few days...
