Unfortunately for the girls, they were still affected by hunger and they were very hungry. Thankfully for Ann and Futaba regular food was enough to satisfy them, but for Makoto and Haru they needed more, and unfortunately for Joker and Morgana, they were next on the menu.
(Although Joker doesn't seem to mind)
