The avian had no idea that his camping trip in the woods would ultimately be his end when he had become hunted to become anothers meal.

He was left though to be gutted alive and forced to feel the stake pushed straight through him from one end to another and it was a shame that he looked beautiful tied up on that spit.

Rallaak's body was glistening in the light from the oven as the skin was crisp and crackly. Reaching out to grab at the bone that once attached to the ankle; a sharp twisting motion was all that was needed to wrench a drumstick free from the roast as the joint separated with a soft wet pop.

The meat was falling away from the bone with the skin holding in the juicy and tender flesh but it made for the perfect meal for the night.

For a bird that size it had to spend a lot of time in the oven to get to the point it was at. Body roasted to an absolute point of succulence, exterior flesh crisped and bronzed to a perfect gold carapace that had locked in the juicy poultry meat of Rallaak.

There were scorched ruptures throughout the avians hide that had drooling amber fats and fluids oozing out from the contours as any identity of the kenku's former life had been cooked away.

Rallaak didn't have the luxury to be alive to see his body get defeathered and stripped straight down to the skin. His hard work showing off on his meaty thighs and drumsticks that he worked his life for.

After being worked over with a nice glaze and marinade to break down all those protiens in his body and make him all nice and juicy for the next step as meat.

Rallaak was not so lucky already being captured and prepared for a roasted kenku meal. With nothing to save him this time around put out of his misery and left for the chef to start prepping the fleshy meat that he was. Becoming nothing more than poultry.

Rallaak ended up in what appeared to be a butcher, being kept alive purely through a collar that was set to ensure that his head was alive throughout the whole process.

But had to live through the pain and experience of being turned into another piece of meat ready for sale for the day. Body being stuffed full so when he's finally roasted it'll make for a nice meal.

Having to deal with being on the butchers hook while all the scrawny limbs are removed that no-one...

The collar was perfect at keeping the kenku alive throughout the cooking process. He was perfectly plated and prepared.. his meat smelling delicious to anyone that looked onwards towards him. Without his head there, anyone would think that he was just some farmed poultry.

What made it worse is that through Rallaak's mind during the carving of his former body was just thinking how much time he had spent on wrestling, making his body perfect and toned. His whole life worked up to...

The kenku was in a predicament now with already knowing the oven was on preheat. Though there was a click of a collar placed around his neck with one simple goal, to keep him alive throughout the cooking process so he could watch his fate.

Normally these collars were used in crime investigations to bring dead bodies back to life so they could be questioned - though as they went onto the black market it allowed the more devious to use them for torture ensuring that the head would...

Minute by minute, Rallaak was being further prepped for what would become his fate. The basting was the worst part yet because they left him to marinade in those juices for at least an hour.

Things went from bad, to worse when he found himself being dunked into a vat of scalding water only to make it easier for his feathers to be notched loose and plucked revealing the pink flesh underneath.
