This chapter was originally intended to be a standalone story of its own and is probably my favorite vore content I’ve ever written. So I’m very glad it found you so well! I’m still slowly writing the rest of the story. So if you do decide to continue on, rest assured, it’s not totally abandoned. I just tend to work on many projects across different media.

I’m glad you liked all the little nuance I colored these characters with with regard to their differing magic and species. I tried to be somewhat original with often recycled things. I wanted to apply tropes in authentic ways.

Oh. My Goodness.

This blew me away!!!!! This was absolutely wholesome and did not feel drawn out at all despite the high word count! I love how you decided to play along with the species instead of just saying "Oh yeah, she's a vampire and he's 10cm tall."

You explored the differences! Vela has a history and so does Leo, which you explored very naturally instead of a "meet and eat" that most of us do! We have difference in magic and bodies, I really love that Vela's body is quieter and that Leo is a perfect fit!

There is so much more that I want to say, but can't find the right words for. Just know that I love this story and your writing to bits and that I am super glad I found you! You are an inspiration for the rest of us writers!

Thank you so much! Each time I try something new it’s an adventure. Mainly, it’s a lot of decision making. Now that I have an idea of how I like to draw throats and stomachs, it should be easier. And I can concentrate more on the little one inside!

I searched around for some art I think does a good job illustrating what I'm talking about, and it's tough! There's lots of great vore art I love out there, but not all of it is a good example of this.

So here's a recent piece by Aesir you very well may have already seen that I think is good: https://aryion.com/g4/view/651731
This pic is really effective at showing that the preys' bodies are wet and sticky. And it's all accomplished with shadow and highlighting -- the liquid inside the pred's stomach is clear colored.

So I’m a writer first, and I have quite a few stories I’ve written that I’ll be slowly porting over here from GW. I am totally with you on the “romantic gift of self” digestion scenario. It’s a dangerously forbidden kind of enticing. Love it. (Probably wouldn’t wanna DO it. But it’s a fun fantasy)

As far as looking at other people’s art: I only wanted to avoid that this one time. I think looking at how other artists do things is vitally important for making progress. But this one time, since it was my first and I’ve seen plenty of internal art before, I wanted my style and execution to be based on a real stomach instead of off another artist’s decisions. Now that I have an idea of how I like to go about doing a stomach, I’ll definitely rely on other art for guidance.

That was an extraordinarily thorough reply! Thanks for all of those great tips! I honestly didn’t think of a lot of those and it feels rather silly, but it’s so east to get caught up what you’re doing and it’s funny what you forget to consider!

Sounds like we agree on a lot of stuff. I, too, prefer the stomach to be a little busy and realistic. Please do refer me to some of your favorites for reference! Best case scenario you recommend an artist I haven’t seen!

I'm the same way with vore, with wanting it to be consensually sexual. There are other kinds I enjoy too, and while I like safe vore I adore full digestion, so I often enjoy fatal vore too, but once again I like it contextualized as being consensual if not romantic. (With one person fully and knowingly giving themselves to another to the furthest degree possible -- how romantic is that? :-D) And imagining scenarios where the prey can reform often helps maintain the fantasy of consensual vore that still involves the prey being digested... there's so much possibility for variety. ^^

As for tips, you already mentioned in another comment that you don't want to look at other people's artwork for reference, and that's fair. Though maybe instead of using it as reference, you can study it and take note of what they're doing to create specific effects.

So a few things come to mind:

1. Add highlights to the prey's skin like you would on something shiny, but not reflective. This helps make it clear that she's wet.

2. Similarly if you want to convey liquid pooling or dripping down her body, you can achieve that with proper shadows and highlights around the contours of the liquid. Much more important than it tinting her skin, it'll catch and reflect light differently too.

3. For the pool of liquid in the stomach, be sure to take into account the curvature of the prey's body (and the ridges and ripples in the stomach walls) when figuring out which parts are submerged and which parts aren't. That'll make it read a lot more like a liquid partially filling the space

If you like I can point you towards a few pieces of artwork that demonstrate some of these things, again not to copy but just to study how they pulled off some of these effects. It's certainly helped me in the (admittedly limited) artwork I've made over the years.

Also, I'll also mention there's a good amount of stuff you did here that I don't see other artists attempting in their internals. Like actually trying to draw the ripples and ridges of stomachs, and filling the stomach with liquid. Even with things being expertly drawn, I just can't find stomachs that are basically "plain looking dry red sacks" all that interesting.

And I'll add the caveat that I'm by no means an experienced artist, and I don't have much in the way of work I can share (at least not yet). But I've been studying and thinking about this for a while and have at least managed to pull off some of these effects when doodling or tracing over existing art.

Thank you kindly! I wanted to include an internal from the get go, but I declared part seven the final because I really wasn’t sure if I’d be able to do a satisfactory job on the first go! It took ages and lots of playing with hue and color gradients, and learning how to build my own pallet to get it done. But I like it!

And I think it’s safe to say that a lot of us vore enthusiasts adore internal views. It’s a peek into the experience many of us long to enjoy! On that note, I prefer to depict (and consume) vore in a sort of “consensually sexual” manner. Because it’s a sexual experience I’d like to have; so I hope it would be as impassioned and mutually enjoyable as any other! So willing/safe is my jam. And even when I dabble in fetal, it’s done with a somewhat tender nature.

I’d love tips! Seriously. I was flying blind for this piece! Any advice would be super appreciated.

That’s very flattering, thanks! For now, I think I’m gonna stick to developing a style and “reacquainting” myself with a craft I haven’t partaken in something like fifteen years. Lol. Just as a hobby.
