Here is what happened:
Garu made a funny face and that distracted Pike as he was pouring milk onto his cereal, so myself and Gridler winded up getting a cold milk shower. Pike knew how to clean us but Gridler was a little nervous, and Garu wasn’t too keen on his human being nervous, but Pike assured him and distracted him with a bone, thus being able to clutch Gridler and myself before slurping us into his maw and cleaning us, he would shortly grow to enjoy the taste better than any cereal...
