I suppose I don't remember how long it's been. It's not something I ever thought to keep track of to begin with. I didn't count the days, months, years. I do know it's been years. Probably over a decade. Maybe close to two. See, he doesn't age normally. Neither do I, but the only time I see my own face is in his eyes, so I don't get reminded to often of that.
