A member of the Bat family being turned into a merfolk would be the ONLY scenario in which the shark repellent from the 60s show would make legitimate sense.

Also, I didn't adapt an actual batfish for this one because they're quite possibly the ugliest creature I've ever seen. There would have been nothing I could do to make that look presentable.
