An important thing to remember when working to gain strength and better yourself is to still be a good person. On her way back after completing a quest, an Ant-kin solo adventurer sees who she thought to be children in an inhospitable land and approaches to offer to escort them to safety. And while either were in need of a chaperone, they couldn't let a good deed go unrewarded.

I'll be honest. I was not expecting to take so long to get this story out. Handling other peoples' OCs always takes more time to get the information to write them correctly, and setting up my caption account on DA took a bit longer than I thought. Still, this was a fun story to write, and Frayo was able to provide me with a wealth of detailed information about their world and characters. I even got to suggest the names of two of the characters in this story, mother and daughter, Hibiki and Mei! ^^
