After waking up to Madeline keeping watch over him, Alear requests her to stay just before she can leave, planning something that'll further strengthen their tightly growing bond.

Just a quick note, this contains very, very minor spoilers for Chapter 21 and this description will too. For the story, it might not immediately be noticeable but just a heads up, playing it safe.



One thought it may never happen but behold, two story uploads on the same day! It only felt right to write Madeline immediately after finishing the Marni story & better yet, upload both on the same day! This will likely not happen again for a long time so let's enjoy it while we can. x3

Despite being counterparts to each other, I do really enjoy how different Madeline is to Marni and yet both have their similarities too besides the obvious in appearances. Though it's only very briefly mentioned, yes it is implied for this setting, Marni does survive the events of Chapter 21, though she is critically injured and is unable to fight… I really wish that's how the game itself handled those events but alas… mmh, I'm gonna end up going on a tangent so I'll leave my thoughts at that.

Anyways, I hope you all enjoy reading this as much as I had fun writing it~! Two stories in one day, again that likely isn't going to happen again for a long while. I've been writing a lot of FE this year so with this fic, I might take a break from writing any more FE stories, at least for a while. This won't be the last FE story from me this year though, I'm sure of that. :3
