Reference sheet for Laurina, Crossroads' most voracious librarian! Rough despite her seemingly composed exterior, short on patience and long on hunger, Laurina deals with thieves, bullies, and other villains the most effective way she knows - digesting them to chyme!
Laurina, after Mukat, is one of the first I created after I started regularly posting kinky work online. She and Crossroads as a setting have seen many changes over time, but one thing's always stayed the same: her zero-tolerance attitude towards misbehavior.
In the past, I hung a lot of my anxiety and self-loathing about sex and sexuality on her, but as I've matured and come to love myself and love the way I feel attracted to others, Laurina has changed too: becoming more complex, sensual, domineering, and erotic.
I think she's remained my most popular character for a reason: people like a bossy, mean lady who can put them in their place. She's curvy, she's hot, and she doesn't hesitate to throw her weight and power around.
And at the end of the day, everyone loves a badass underdog (under-mouse?). Laurina went from being a humble nobody scraping by to being a commanding authority despite her humble outward role. Turnabout is fun, and Laurina is at her best when she turns the tables on others.
In all her cruelty, in all her anxiety, in all her sharp edges and plump curves build from those she's churned down to nothing, I feel like Laurina represents - to me, at least - the kind of person I wish to be: confident, resilient, and unwilling to tolerate bullshit.

Yeah, and while I don't really consider those bits canon (they're mostly just funny and things I did on commission for you) it's nonetheless fun to enjoy Laurina as a full character and not just a vehicle for making kinky stuff.

Laurina remains my favourite pred on Eka's. No question at all.
I'm so glad I got the comic commission starring her a time ago.

I'm glad you love her so much! It still remains my dream that I can one day more fully tell her story - I have a whole canon in my head about her and her friends (Marcia, Missan, and Shoso particularly) living on the fringes in Crossroads and upturning the malevolent Nexus Corporation's control of the city and all. It might take some time to get to a point where I can but hey-- it's not like I don't have plenty of that still left!

I do indeed, and I hope that you can continue exploring her story more soon. Perhaps one day I would like to commission another work involving her in wonderfully predatory action, too.
