Okay so witches eat humans/witches simply because the hold more mana right?
But what if a witch simply eat way more human food to acomidate for eating humans/witches?

Absolutely. Most witches do get by by eating normal human food, albeit greater quantities of it. Wicked witches, however, take the easier route and devour humans and other witches.
