Wildlife Population Management By FunnelVortex -- Report

One of Freia's many job realities as a surveyor are the random unplanned orders given from Central, and as the field and circumstances are ever changing she will often get new requests pinged to her device at the most inconvenient of moments. The past couple days were days filled with such bullshit, she hadn't gotten any sleep in over 36 hours due to having to respond to a bunch of direct pings tasking her to do everything from moving fallen trees that were blocking key trails to cleaning up a trash-filled abandoned campsite left behind by uncaring tourists. Throughout all of the work with little break one thought remained constant in her mind: "spirits of arpines long past fucking help me!"

But then sometimes there's the odd tasks. A ping was sent out to all surveyors in the region regarding the Regional Naturalist and Hunter's Council's decision on an increasing invasive species problem in the area. The Message read: --! SPECIES OVERPOPULATION MEASURES !-- ALL ACTIVE SURVEYORS AND NATURALISTS PURSUE GOAL AT WILL. REPORT CULLINGS AND RELOCATIONS

Relieved seeing it was something she had a lot more flexibility on Freia happily located a colony of the critters in question. Given her freedom to pursue the goal as she pleases and her ravenous hunger built up from the exhausting past couple of days she quickly gorged down the critters without second thought, she then wrote down the number of culls she committed into her device: 17 total.

Feeling heavy after her large meal of fuzzy morsels that were now squirming inside her she started to unbuckle her accessories to prepare for some much-needed sleep. But before she could even finish getting her bagstrap off Freia passed out and fell to the ground landing on her back; her stomach had sapped whatever energy she had remaining to digest it's fill. She slept hard with slobbery snores as her belly worked hard churning all that meat and bone into precious highly-demanded nutrients that she will appreciate (and thank the gods for) once she wakes up from her much needed-rest.

Freia's job can be hard sometimes but it's always worth it to her, and these moments of primal satisfaction after make it all the sweeter.
