We Are Peridot 3 By Spider8Fiend -- Report

After all is said and done, Peridot couldn't bring herself to digest Peril and NCP. She idolized the Green Bolt too much and Peridot would never hurt her dear sister. Instead, Peridot Sculpted them: by harmonizing her gem with theirs, the three Peridots fused together. Now they're one big, beautiful Peridot.

Well, it's a fusion of a sort. NCP and Peril don't exactly have a say in the matter. Peridot controls this fusion, yielding their immense power and shapely bodies like it's her own. There is no NCP and Peril anymore; not until the Gems separate. Peridot rules them, in body and mind.

But hey, this is a good thing! Peridot is a great Gem. The greatest! NCP and Peril should be proud to be part of her; to be one with her. Can there be a greater honor?

Of course not.

Well, it's been a long time coming (roughly a year, by my estimate?), but finally it's here! 'We Are Peridot' is a silly sequence  z3d and I cooked up that's a revamp of an unfinished Peridot sequence, "Peridot Wins." We weren't content how the original sequence's tie-in story was turning out, so we set it aside. It metamorphized into this after we concocted a form of non-fatal digestion specific to Gemkind, since Peridot would never hurt her beloved older sister, NCP.

Admittedly, the transition between the projects wasn't completely smooth. We threw ideas back-and-forth for a while, torn between different outcomes. Should Peridot spit out NCP and digest Peril? How much struggle should the two Gems put up? How would Peridot eat them in the first place, given that Peril and NCP are categorically stronger than Peridot on most fronts (not a difficult feat, even if these OCs are written as power fantasies)? Around and around we went, chasing each other's tails, sometimes forfeiting the idea altogether.

It got to the point where, by the time we did decide how to write "I AM Peridot," Chiefmouldy wasn't available anymore. We needed to commission a separate artist to complete the sequence.
To that end, LittleBun rose to the task magnificently! Even if Z3d hadn't pushed hard to commission them, I completely agree: LittleBun did a glorious job, both matching the aesthetic of Rebecca Sugar's art style, while still selling the perilous, if kinky situation Peril and NCP find themselves in. Spectacularly well done, LittleBun!

Of course, this isn't to downplay Chiefmouldy's efforts. They sell the different proportions between Peridot and these OCs very well! Perhaps my eye for art isn't quite as refined as others, but I believe Chiefmouldy strikes a fine balance between realism and abstract art with much of their style. Posing is innately sexual, conveying Peril & NCP's prowess and dominance quite vividly, while the shading captures the raw power these two can throw around. Peridot is completely overwhelmed, while her flustered expression is just silly enough to still be funny. Truly, Chiefmouldy showcases their skills beautifully here!

And how can I not thank Z3d for their efforts? If not for them, this sequence wouldn't exist. From the hours of throwing ideas around on Discord to writing the tie-in story together, they were an endless wellspring of creativity. Every day, I feel thankful to be their friend.

I can't begin to thank everyone for their hard work and hours of effort on this project. Truly, they're the ones who really deserve praise. I'm just the schmuck who worked on the collab and edited the tie-in-story! Speaking of which! If you'd kindly check out "We Are Peridot" in the link below, Z3d and I would gladly appreciate people giving it their eyeballs:

Very cool! The other same-gem fusions we saw (topaz an ruby) each got larger the more gems were included. How big is a Peridot times 3? Bigger than Garnet? Bigger than Jasper?

The story z3d and I wrote to accompany this sequence kept Peridot short. If memory serves me right, she grew a few inches, but that’s it? The main reason was to reinforce Peridot’s shortstack energy, tho the in-universe justification is that this isn’t a traditional fusion. Peril and NCP have BECOME one with Peridot, not fused with her as partners. As such, Peridor retaining much of her original looks, but curvier, reinforces that.

That said, with the power of two Peridots under her control, especially strong ones, Peridot is much more dense. She can grow larger to reflect this, but doesn’t for convenience. If I had to guesstimate Peridot’s true size without z3d’s direct agreement, I’d say Peridot is 18 feet tall? Enough that she can stroll down Beach City Boardwalk and overlook buildings, but isn’t crushing them underfoot by accident either. Garnet and Jasper stand to Peridot’s huge hips.
