It doesn't look like there is other food in there, so I take it there are some stomach acids at work here. Her pride was insulted when he presumably said he could escape her, as she is an experienced predator, and she wants to prove that is not the case. She's already let him out plenty of times and proved she's not interested in digesting her, so what she wants here is just to prove she is good at predation despite all the times she releases him. It also seems to arouse her when he struggles.

always wondered why never had something like pointy inside, mess with the other organs or apply pressure to veins or the trachea, mess with the esophagus,or atempt to cause internal bleedng with something

Well if I might shed some light, First one would have to get a sharp object down with them. Which more preds would disarm you. Secondly, many preds stomachs have natural defenses to this normally in the design, thus the lining is much thicker then a normal stomach and more elastic. Making it hard for most weapons to puncture. If you keep in mind many preds eat dragons and other mythical species that have claws that cut through steel like butter. It starts to make sense that a normal steel knife would do nothing more but injure yourself in this case.

So if your looking for more reasoning then, "It's Fantasy" there normally is one. Thus like trying to cut a bag with a dull knife when it is lax. It is really hard to so, even more so when you coat it in slime to slide the blade off the substance.

yt for the insight man, normaly i wanted to try the "hugediscomfort" methor rather than damage like when you eat something and you dont feel so good a few steps later, and as you said context is good to for some fantasy mythrical or simpler contexts, still as some animals get their stomach/intestines not pierced open but with a wound inside that could mix the fluids

Yeah! Pretty much what Anthony said here! She does disarm her preys before she swallows them. (Which is described in the story too)
Meanwhile I don't think she would be totally safe from sharp object either. With an excuse of it being a Fantasy; I like to quote that most of the predators from vore universes are likely stronger than the Xenomorphs from the Alien movie. It's gonna take quite some time to actually puncture a pred's gut from the inside. Also the preds have some control over their stomach to actually squeeze the prey with intense force.

In the end, the preds would get some gastritis from the damage, but likely would drown the prey inside faster than themselves getting killed by sharp objects.

In my opinion, at least lol
