You mean the third and second frame, right?
So, basically it's just the first batch of people that get sucked into Samantha's stomach in the beginning, in some ways it's a great mountain of living flesh (temporarily alive), later this bump gets smaller for obvious reasons. ( ´ ▽ ` )
