This story came about as the result of another playful exchange with  slash, where we were discussing various scenarios and discovered that a) we both really like the idea of barbarian warrior types having their way with highborn civilized furs and b) for all my love for playing cute little princelings and the like, I actually do not have any character fitting that type, since mine tend to be either going for my other favorite type of the cute jungle boy (Yako, Shurrah, Amadi...) or are for more generic modern settings by default (Malus as a catboy, Cody, Mateo, Mikey...). On top of that, I've always had a liking for ancient Egypt type scenarios and still remembered a rather memorable story by  BerserkerB, where two of Slash's characters are showing off what hungry beastmen can do to spoiled and rotten royals, in this case Aliclan's Milo And Julie (check it out here!).
...thus came about the idea of having one of my boys, Matt, get an AU version where he is a prince in a pseudo ancient Egyptian kingdom and have both Diallo the cheetah and Abasi the jackal as his personal guards and constant companions. And if you pair those two wild boys with a spoiled sweet prince who gets all the perks of divine blood fueled immortality, you likely can imagine where that ends. ;-)
Thus, join prince Mat (childhood nickname for one of those long, complicated royal ones, the usual second letter t dropped here) as he recounts some of the more striking memories from his time together with his two guardians and cherished friends. And he is starting this special, personal diary of with that one big disaster where he was supposed to perform the rites of the fertile soil for the first time, a ceremony as the beginning of a festival to celebrate the inundation and infuse the new soil with divine blood to guarantee a prosperous harvest. Supposed to, that is. Because when your one closest friend is a wild cheetah and your other a jackal who, despite all of the good dog act is really not much better and both of them just discovered a new, vorish trick, let us just say, you better hope they are as good at dealing with big sticky messes as they are at making them...

 slash was also kind enough to let me play around with the hot pictures he had drawn of both Diallo and now also Abasi to make a little improvised cover for this. Many thanks again! It made me able to imagine being between those two hot guys all the better!^^
And especially if you guys like this little misadventure, I do plan to maybe write down some more of the ideas I had for the three of them and discussed with Slash, both of the wacky hijinks kind as well as the more adventurous ones. So, hope you all enjoy!
