Question asked by  Bowyer2! If further detail is wanted by anyone, I'm more than open to giving a well-written continuation to this question in the comments!

Also since the question is directed towards any general character, I'll do a tier list on how on what characters like the feeling of prey inside them the most below.

---

Loves it for the feeling - Ollie

Loves it for the nutrition/empowerment - Cooper

Depends on who they ate - Raz and Vixie

Apathetic towards prey - Vinomi and Carna

Doesn't enjoy the implications - Lamoine

Doesn't like prey in stomach - Emily and Jaylin

Wants to be the one in the stomach - Sylvia

Very nice. I would like to ask Kate if she likes the feeling of her boyfriend giving her belly massage by squirming around in her belly, but I'll saved it for the next Q&A.

Oh you can ask it now if you'd like, there's two questions per person for this QnA and you've only asked one so far. If you can't access the form again, you can either DM me the exact wording you'd like to use or I can reword this comment to fit the QnA.

Oh okay then, I'll do that.

Given the height differences between preds and prey in this world, what are the extreme ends of the spectrum? Put in another way, how 'small' can prey get? The question implies to me that prey can get very small, bordering on tiny (say, six inches tall), and the answer doesn't deny this implication. Or am I reading too deeply into this?

Pretty small, the smallest groups of people tend to be as tall as a standard 17 oz water bottle. But way back when before people starting having offspring with other demi species, you could find people at tall as your thumb, all of them were insect demis. They're still around, but again they're about water bottle size from cross breeding with larger demi species. Not to say these groups have completely gone "extinct", the smallest person in the world in this verse is around 4 inches tall.

To go on the other end though, the largest humans can stand up to 20 feet tall, and even longer if you count tailed species like lamias and marine humans, where their length can exceed 30 feet.

Ohohoho! That is some juicy lore! I'll keep it in mind~

It's something I've thought about for a while, especially since aspects of society will have to find ways to accommodate people of these statures. While I'd say a good 70-80% of the adult population is still between 4 and 6 feet tall and generally is built to accommodate them, social movements in the past decades have sprung up to push for more security or accommodating factors for demis of larger or smaller stature. Like roads and driving can be dangerous for people past certain height thresholds, so cars built for shorter drivers are permitted to drive on sidewalks and breakdown lanes since they can only travel so fast. Housing for small humans is relatively easy, but accommodating for larger humans can be difficult, and issues arise when some spaces are too small for them to enter, especially in extreme weather situations.

Oh, it'd be a bad day for a 20-foot giant to squeeze into a hurricane shelter. It's difficult enough handling normal weather emergencies like that, much less with refugees who could crushed underfoot by their neighbors, or finding enough space for a giant to walk around and go about a semi-healthy routine as everyone waits for the storm to pass...

Yeah the issue becomes most prevalent during the winter, when a lot of larger people just wanna get inside somewhere to escape the cold. A lot of cities and more suburban towns have accommodating spaces for them, but a lot of rural places traditionally have them wait outside for their service to be delivered to them by an employee. Generally this isn't an issue in the summer since a lot of places can be outdoor only, but in the winter it becomes an issue when the only places a large person can comfortable fit into is their own home and maybe some larger grocery chains. Though in some rural places, you'll see large barn exteriors attached to the main building, and that's usually extra seating/space for larger humans. Even then, those parts tend to be poorly air conditioned so they're usually closer to outdoor temps than the main building.

As always, I'm impressed how much careful forethought you've put into this world. I could learn a thing or two!

AgentV

Posted by AgentV 1 month ago Report

She has no concept of digestion lmao, she just thinks that they escape in her sleep. She's also very active so any attempts to explain that they're converted into body mass falls flat on her.
