The Carnivorous Horse

Nietzsche the anthro goat had a lifestyle that she thought suited her species. She was in
charge of the livestock at her barn, where she raised goats and sold when they were old enough.
Right now, she owned about a dozen young goats, all of whom she took care of.

But that wasn't all Niet did, she also had a large pet horse whish she took care of for
herself. It wasn't very old as far as she knew, but almost 7 feet long - 3 feet longer than she
was tall. The horse mostly never interfered with the goats, until one day something peculiar
happened.

Niet occasionally fed her horse, whom she had named Plow, meat instead of hay. She didn't
really think it was bad for the horse, and whenever there was meat the horse always slurped
it down eagerly. Over the past few months, the Horse began eating the meat more and more, until
one day Niet observed Plow doing something peculiar.

It was a hot summer day in the middle of July. Niet was just waking up, and walking outside
to head over to the barn. She walked through the heavy doors, and saw that Plow had managed to
get into the goat's pen. It was no big deal - this happened before. But, something strange was
happening. The horse was reaching down it's head to one of the goats, and was licking it
continuously, covering it in saliva. "What's going on?" Niet asked out loud, but then realized.

Through all of those years Niet had fed her horse meat, it seemed to have acquired quite a
taste over the years, to the point which it could no longer wait for Niet to feed it. So, now
it had come to the goat's pen - the closest source of meat, and was tasting one, to see if it
could eat it! Niet at first dismissed the idea, but then had an idea. What if it really were
true? She decided to feed the goats, and test her idea after lunch.

So, two hours later when Niet finished her lunch, she headed back to the barn. She saw
that Plow was no longer licking the goat, but that didn't stop her. She took the baby goat
closest to her, and put two raw slabs of meat on top of it. She then ran behind a bale of hay
and watched to see what happened.

The goat tried to shake the meat off, but soon Plow was upon it. First, the Horse slurped
up and ate the first piece of meat, and then the second. But then, to Niet's amazement, the
Horse licked the goat twice before engulfing it's head in it's mouth. A few short minutes later,
the Horse swallowed the entire goat down, and it had a stomach that moved and churned visibly
from the outside. Niet was in awe. Plow had actually [i]swallowed[/i] one of her goats alive!
And now, it was digesting it alive! The Horse's stomach indeed gurgled and churned around the
goat's body as it got to work breaking it down. Wow, thought Niet, I've got to see what else
this horse can do!

That night, however, after Niet went to bed, the Horse found itself hungry again. So,
instead of eating hay, it walked over to another goat, and quickly ate it. When the goat slid
into it's stomach, it went to another goat and ate that one as well, followed by a third one,
making a total of three writhing in it's stomach acids, and a fourth one's corroded bones being
slopped through it's colon. I'll never have to eat hay again, the horse thought. I can just eat
meat from now on! And with that, the carnivorous Horse sat down to let its massive churning
belly digest the helpless goats.
