He's rubbin' the belly of his other half which is his dragon half! Kinda confusing but only they can see and touch each other, while normal people only see one (whichever form Beloved is in). If you're interested I have part of their story posted here!

do they get digested in the human half stomach? or they go into the dragon half some time?

They get soft and sort of die in the human half and then the tougher stuff like bone and hair gets digested in the dragon half.
