So I got bored, and started listening to the soundtrack to both Rozen Maiden and Phantom of the Opera. And this picture spawned itself. It has no story, the puppet mistress has no name, and I have NO IDEA why Marine is dressed as a pirate. But, you know what? I'm gonna let you guys come up with a story! Hmm...Im to lazy to be a writer but it seems that shadow would be the "Hero" Or maybe the puppet misstres's Servant/Partner. Nice pic

Looks like Amy so far is the only one free now, but this looks like it would make a interesting story though!

This reminds me of an old SNES video game, Secret of Evermore, where in one Victoreanesque world there is a puppet show that hypnotizes the king. The king watches the puppets mindlessly until you reach a certain point in the plot that you have to fight. You can kill the puppets a few times until the 'puppeteer' shows up and you whack it in the head.

Some weird puppet chick is causing havoc by enslaving sonic characters and Shadow is sent in by GUN to stop her. Marine is his sidekick because she's trained as a pirate or something, and he free's Amy who also helps him. It'll be like SA2 where there are two stories, Hero and Dark. But the twist is Shadow, Amy, and Marine are the Hero's and Sonic, Tails, and *Insert random chacacter here* are the Dark side. Shadow and Sonic will have speed stages, Marine and Tails would have... Robots again? Maybe... And Amy would do some random crap probably based off whoever is her counter part. Maybe Knuckles? Yeah. They treasure hunt. Again.
So there you go. Go make a million dollars with that idea.

(I like that idea but how bout you choose three story parts and they each fight the puppets equally as bosses and they all 3 team up like sonic heroes type final boss fight?)

Maybe... Maybe some parts where they're a team and some parts where they're separate.

Alright...
Croc, lovable pimp that he is, was being brought tributes in the form of nubile, hypnotized slave girls, treasure, and ancient antiques. In one of the antiques, they found a life-size doll that came to life, introducing herself as the Puppet Mistress.
Croc is delighted to have a new toy, and orders her to show her stuff.
They bring in Sonic the Hedgehog, the hero who has thus far resisted all attempts to hypnotize him into obedience. Naturally, Croc could crush his puny mind in an instant if he really tried, but he's amused by his blue pet's continued struggle.
The Puppet Mistress extends her hand to the hedgehog's forhead and focuses her power on the proud quickster, and his angry cries and insults to Croc fade away, as does the light in his eyes. He slums in his restraints, his eyelids drooping and his will stolen.
Croc laughs in delight, a little sad his old toy has finally been broken, but much pleased with his new toy.
When he steps forward to examine Sonic, however, the Puppet Mistress reaches over and holds her hand above his own head, and he feels his willpower leave him, his mind clouding, and his body weakening.
Of course Tails-ko and his other slaves rush to his defense, but the Puppet Mistress flings curved objects that look almost like headphones at them, and they find their allegiance instantly change from Croc to the Puppet Mistress.
She declares that it is the end of the Croc Empire, and is the rebirth of her Puppet Kingdom. She has all her new slaves don costumes that she deems fit (Which usually means topless, cause she's a fairly perverted automation), and dance and perform for her amusement. It pleases her to have both Croc and Sonic near her at all times, following her in a stupor or seated together at her feet, dazed to the point of leaning on each other, and she is amused that the two formerly mortal foes are so utterly dominated that they show no trace of their former enmity.
(It would not do to say the thing she forces the former hero and the former tyrant to do for her in private.)
But hope is not yet lost!
For on the high seas, the infamous Captain Marine, scourge of the Croc Empire, has learned of what transpired in his palace. Now she has joined forces with the rebel leader, Shadow, and the mad Amy Rose, the only person to ever break Croc's brainwashing treatment.
Together they now seek to defeat the Puppet Mistress' four generals, and then the Mistress herself.
But do they dare risk freeing their friend, Sonic, when it might free the dreaded Croc as well?
Time will tell...
