This was a drawing I did as practice in The Gimp to see how well I could use my tablet. It also turned into a lesson in layers and coloring from kitsunekimmy, which was incredibly helpful.
Also some credit goes to forest-wolf for some preliminary information regarding layers. I'm pretty pumped right now.

Skill and style are two different things.
In this case, neither applies, since it's just trying to make use of better resources, which has nothing to do with skill or style.
