Actually, the one with the mantle to the face is a guy, but whatevs. He'll get pain soon enough. That was just to blind him temporarily. It'll wrap around his head a bit too, so he'll have to get it off himself or let gravity do its job.

She trains with them, actually, so she's totally used to them. Also, they're far enough down that the cartilage has more or less sealed them there without too much movement.

Part of her fighting style is that she enjoys what she's doing. It gives her a clearer mind and makes her more aware of her surroundings. It's like a dance, only ever-so-slightly more painful for those around her.

Technically not Jackie Chan. If anything, I was thinking of Bugs Bunny's piano playing, but hey. The concept for her fighting style is using every part of her body when the opportunity arises, so the ears made logical sense.

And oddly enough, so do I. :3
