I used to love making maps for D&D dungeons and such, so I found an online floor plan creator and made up Savage's garage. It does not perfectly match the description in the stories, which is why you should make the map BEFORE writing the stories. 83

Can I get a link to it? It would help out my game groups DM a lot.

It takes a little getting used to, but it's easy enough once you do.

That's the sexiest floor plan I've ever seen (jk)

I was actually going to modify this drawing tomorrow, as it occurred to me I could move the office up to the north end of the building and make the wrecker yard bigger. When I do that I'll consider your points. It should be easy to add a mechanical room.
The problem with adding a trap is it would require water flow, and a LOT of water, given the amount of "stuff" that comes out of Savage. An O-ring seal on the trap may be the best they can manage, though you are correct that it would stink the place up every time he opens it. Unfortunately the trap is inside the building according to story #3, or else I'd move it to the wrecker yard.

Hm, given that he tends to carry in barrels of water and leave them in the yard, a trap may be possible. It would also make it harder to use the shaft as an invasion point, which I had already worried about.

I already edited the first story when I realized that Savage needed to be 6' tall at the shoulder, not 5'. The math didn't work at 5'.
The place is not meant to be a fortress or else they wouldn't be living in a disused garage. 83
