This is a commissioned piece done by Autumn Lorne on deviantart.com:
http://autumnology.deviantart.com
In this picture, the three sisters, Iarae (green), Talise (red), and Meriel (blue), have made their to the surface late one evening. Why they have done so is a mystery. There they encountered a wondrous sight, a brilliant green light hanging below a creature floating upon the surface. Iarae was particularly enthralled by the creature, since it closely mimicked the color of her own photophores. Staying below the beast, Iarae and Talise watch on in amazement as their younger sister, Meriel, takes a closer look.
The three sisters do not appear in any stories I've written thus far, but I do have ideas for one or two in the future. The previous commission involving these three mermaids can be found here: http://aryion.com/g3/showitem.php?id=179366

My advice to that little guy?
Put away the fishing pole. Now. ^_-

Ah, but what if it's the fact he's fishing that makes him so fascinating to the mermaids?

I sense another cute/awesome story on the way.

There will be a story for this, just may take a while.

If that was me, I just set the new rowboat speed record to over 760 Miles per Hour. LOL

Heh, that would be something to see. I'm not sure the mermaids could top that speed.

This is better than so much in here.. ^^ You should really continue the story. I know people would love to see what happens next!

There will be a story that leads up to this moment and beyond. I have no idea when it'll be ready though.
