Ah yes, Valentines Day. A day for romance, roses, and eating chocolate. Eating, did you say...?

A bit late for V-day, but given the quality of it I'd say it's forgiven. I quite enjoyed reading it.

Glad you liked. Bit of a test of the 'fantasy mode' fur/Vore story (ie, magic explains how/why folks have tails 'n teeth 'n eat each other). The Sharue/Lesh item was in an 'SF mode'; might be why Leshama rejected (ie, plausible fictional technology explains how/why folks have teeth/tails etc...). Lot of fur/Vore stories are kinda 'mythic mode' (ie, folks just have tails/teeth, just eat each other, no explanations offered). Don't favour that myself; feels like waving your hands in the air. Story's gotta schmeck, with no loose ends. Did it with this one. Let's see if there's more where that came from.

Glad you liked, especially if anthro/fur characters don't do it for you. As characters, anthros/furs can be done well or done badly, and Great Cthulhu but there's lotsa bad out there. Do fur 'n tails 'n fangs allow a writer to ignore the essentials of character (without which a story bores)? I don't think so. Which is a shame, since furs can make for very interesting characters, esp. when you layer on the whole predator/prey dynamic. Been getting good with them lately. Would that piece be as spicy with two human characters? Nope. 'Nuff said.

Far more writers ignore the essentials of character just by adding sexual content. You didn't. I approve :)

It was a lovely story, with a good background, interesting characters, a believable plot (well, believable by vore standards), and a hint of a sequel. I'm going to go see if you've posted any other stories... Good stuff.

In a word, thank you (wait, that's two words :-) )

Yeah, easy to write sexually about furs 'n Vore (ie. straight pr0n); these are inherently sexual, fetishistic subjects. Fine, and whatever turns you on (that's the point of pr0n). Think RP influences a lot of what gets written, too.

But is that all the fur/Vore genre can do? Writer (and artist) should aim higher, make something memorable. Don't neglect turn-on and spiciness, but there's gotta be more and better than that. Otherwise the work is read/viewed once, folks get their tickle ('s what made the writer/artist do it in the first place), then forgotten. Pr0n has a literary shelf life measured in milliseconds.

Sequel? Hell yes, there's more where this came from; this piece has reawakened a story 'universe' from a few years back that stalled out. I've got a reeeal fun idea for how magic came into the world (and furs and Vore). Stay tuned.

PS: I'm gonna have to turn CERN into a smoking hole in the ground. Turns out the Higgs boson didn't want to be found... :->

Huh? I guess this is a reference to your earlier bit about "shelf life measured in milliseconds"... I thought CERN's LHC just broke, and was being repaired. Admittedly, I haven't kept up with the story... It was a bit of an anticlimax to go from "We may discover the secrets of the universe!" to "I broked it.", and I lost interest... *goes to google it*
So they didn't find the "God Particle". *shrugs* Life as usual then.

Oh, I looked at your gallery, and your only other series is about cooking/roasting, which I'm really not a fan of... So I'll just keep watching this series. Keep up the good work.

Cheers.

It's a teaser, not a spoiler (admittedly a cryptic one). In a week or so, all will be revealed.

Until a certain kitsune/neko writer around here grabbed my creative bone and twisted it viciously and until I finally made a kitsune character of my own to enjoy proper furry preding... I was not much for furries myself, though not against them, just not my thing.

This is a wonderful piece because you found a way to jam in exposition so as its action/necessary. Kudos ^^

And yes character work! For a story dripping with sexual innuendo there isn't one hint of actual sex, and yet it is lovely romantic, husband wife sorting out HIS "face palm" moment, and I love her "then lay back to just bliss out for a while". "bliss out"? ahahaha i could picture that look on her face <3

Yes, I do like the way the comments are going on this story. Thanx.

Think I got lucky with this piece, in terms of plot idea. Vore and furs seem a natural fit (predator/prey dynamic). Magic also seems de rigeur (otherwise it's all just hard vore/outright predation). And Vore can certainly have sexual/fetishistic overtones.

How to stuff all this into one package? And generate readable storylines? Without descending into pr0n? Challenge. Did it this time. And a tip 'o the hat yet again to Leshana, without whom I wouldn't have been thinking about kitsunes.

As fantasy sub-genres go, think this can take me into interesting territory; tricky, but full of possibilities. In order to work, this story had to hint at a larger world of furs 'n magic 'n Vore. Second story is in progress that will be putting some definition into this society. Gonna be tougher, but looking good so far. Also gonna be fun.

Oh, and by coincidence, there will be a cute female vampire involved (I noted your stories; I'll read 'em *after* I've finished mine). We'll see how I do.

o////o thank you for that, and I eagerly look forward to all vampiress introductions.

Ironically, I don't like blood, not even in stories, lol @_@

Out of curiosity, whom are you referring to?
I think I can guess, but if I'm missing another great writer, then, well... I'm missing out.

I was talking about Imrhys. He's got some vampiress stories.

Umm, I was talking TO Imrhys.
About the "Until a certain kitsune/neko writer around here" quotation.
Sorry for the mixup.

I was referring to Throatwolf's "Outfoxed" story and neko university stories.

Really, really nice work! I love how you fleshed out the "mechanics" of the possibility of vore: actual spells, instead of going on faith. I also found it rather impressive that the story was so sexy and yet cleverly restrained, not very explicit. I never really liked the X-rated, myself...

This story hereby receives another genuine fur's signature of approval! ^^

Pleased you liked. I've got an SF turn of mind, so half the fun is the 'world building' the story needs in order to work. Vore magic would have to do certain things; call this piece a test of plausibility.

Second story's going to go into more depth on magic in general in this world (and Vore); maybe done next week at the rate I'm going. Posit that magic is a type of technology, and where does that take us? Not a new idea, but one I've put to use elsewhere, so let's do it again here.

As for sex, couldn't see that the story needed actual whoopee. Some stories do; be weaker without it, means ignoring character sexuality. Other stories, that's solely why the readers are reading (pr0n had better have sex in it). Lastly, there are stories based purely on the writer's horniness; ie., got off writing it. Sometimes easy to spot.

Rather just write a good story. Fun to write scorching stuff sometimes, but at what expense? Nuff said.
