Wasn't really planning on it, no. Most of the ideas I get are one-shots. Besides, there wouldn't be a lot more to say that wasn't already hinted at near the ending.

Very nicely done. I like this sort of caring unbirth story, rescuing from abuse. It was nicely detailed as well. I agree there doesn't necessarily have to be a sequel, though it might be nice if there were one to show how "different" Mika was afterward and if she remembered anything.
