Aijax picked up the weapon on a mission to deal with some slavers. Ever since then he hasn't let it go out of his sight. Normally not one to deal with firearms, this was differen't. Instead of producing a kill shot, it fired a pulse of energy that would slug the target and fire them backwards as if being hit by a freight train.
Running out of ammo quickly, the company he worked for allowed the Mouse to keep the rare weapon, and would even develop personal ammo shells for the gun as long as Aijax only used it on missions they sent him on.

You've chosen the right artist to ask again, my friend, and I love how Aijax looks in that suit of his. There's something about it that really serves to draw you in when you get the full picture, and the story in the description is a very helpful compliment.
