A random idea that was near impossible to execute, especially with my low-grade skills. But, here we are. While sorting my many (and I mean MANY) TCGs, I unearthed my Yu-Gi-Oh cards, and found one of my two Gaia the Dragon Champion cards. I joked to myself in doing a different version, but then I decided to pursue it. After many (and I mean MANY) failed attempts, I finally got it down. Angelissa the Dragon Champion. A fusion of Angelissa and Curse of Dragon. Much stronger than Gaia the Dragon Champion, with an effect to boot. I will say this... this was a VERY difficult drawing. Anyway, Angel is ready to take to the sky on dragon back. But where is her armor? Don't tell me she doesn't wear any *wink*! Hopefully she doesn't get saddle sore in the nether regions. However, it looks like Angel is ready to take on any foe, and even gains more power from her allies. Looks like she finally brushed up on her trading card game skills, even becoming part of a Fusion Monster. With this, Sharue, Amanda, and Omega better watch themselves, as this winged warrior of the sky might give them something to contend with. After all, dragons get hungry too, ya know. *chuckles*

I immediately recognized it from Yugioh. Oh boy, did I watch that a lot...

Out of the two, I'd say you managed the dragon the best.

Curse of Dragon I had help with, mostly thanks to the card itself (Curse of Dragon, not Dragon Champion). Although I do take pride in it, as it was my better dragon attempt. As for Angel, I was winging it quite a bit (pun not intended). Hence why she could use some work. Hopefully Angel can tweak it better.

I always liked the Dragon Champion, but I never found any use for it. Killer pic, though! You definitely did Curse of Dragon justice, and you depicted Gaia's lances pretty well. I'd see that one more as a Fairy-Type monster than a Spellcaster, though. ^^

I was debating between Fairy and Spellcaster, but since angels are more based on magic and immortality, I figured Spellcaster worked out better. Besides, Angel knows her way around magic very well.

Reminds me of 3 real cards that I either have or have had. Injection Fairy Lily's name suggests a Fairy-Type, but she's actually a Spellcaster, and the same goes for the Tuner Monster, Sunny Pixie. There's also a Synchro Monster called Ancient Sacred Wyvern whose name suggests a Dragon-Type, but it's actually a Fairy.

There is another card that sounds different than it is. Dunames Dark Witch, one of my favorites. With the name "Dark Witch" you'd think it would be a Dark Spellcaster, but she's actually a Light Fairy. It's funny how some cards are named differently than what their actually type and attribute state.

The original "Dark Witch" is the same way. Or that's like the differences between so many of the Goblin Attack Force clones.

Mm, not bad. Actually I know very little about the game other than bits I picked up here and there, I'm a Magic: the Gathering player myself.

Still, it's an interesting concept, and I can see the effort put in the drawing.

And yes, dragons get hungry too. Now where did Hiroe run to...?

Let's just hope that your steed won't get the idea to eat you instead. ~_^ As for the game itself, it's a lot of fun, and has quite a number of different cards (some with different art forms, like Dark Magician Girl and Red Eyes Black Dragon). It does require some math skill, but throwing down cards like unexpected Traps and high-powered Spell cards are always fun (Mirror Force and Ragaki are some of the more popular options in Trap and Spell cards, respectively). You should check it out sometime.

Anyway, time for you to take to the skies on your winged steed. Just remember to feed him or he'll get the idea of munching on you.

Too bad Raigeki's forbidden. They did take Dark Hole off the forbidden list, though. Now, it's just limited to one.
