- COMMISSION -
With the broad expansion of technology in the far-future, such wonders as full, immersive virtual reality are widely available for the public, so long as they have the credits to purchase such technology. A digital environment that is able to support and provide for the user is something that has been eluded to in many different forms of media such as films, television and comic books. Now however it is very much possible.
Technically an artificial, fully interactive, computer created world, virtual reality offers many different prospects to many different people. Some sceptics see it as an easy escape from reality for the weak minded and warn people of becoming addicted to the fantasy worlds they are able to create at a moments notice.
For the masses that were able to install a virtual reality platform the technology was a wondrous thing. Of course, being the high-roller that she was, Mary-Rose HAD to have one.
Stepping onto a circular plate on the middle of the floor, the Hippo admired the strange lights around the room she was in. Hearing a buzzing, Mary-Rose felt her eyes widen automatically as the hundreds of lights flashed. The room was bathed in a dark blue light and the Hippo realised she was inside the constructed reality. Looking down at her body, she saw that it still had a ways to go before it was fully loaded into the program.
"Guess there's a lot of me to render..." She giggled, wondering what kind of fun to have in this virtual reality.

A really experimental commission from Neo here. I can tell she had a lot of fun with this theme.
Over the past couple of weeks Neo has been taking different theme'd commissions which have ranged from doodles like this to Pokemon. When I saw that they were open again I leapt at the chance to get one for myself. Inspired after seeing another commission featuring a big girl from Neo, I asked for my commission to star Mary-Rose and here she is!
For those unaware the title is inspired by Who Framed Roger Rabbit.
"I'm not bad, I'm just drawn that way" was a little quote from Jessica Rabbit in the movie. It applies so well to this commission that I had to use it.

I don't know why, but this has to be one of my favorite renditions of Mary-Rose. And I have to agree, the little stories you write for these are amazing...but you already knew that! =D
