Ignatz didn't know how Cleverfoot froze him in rat-man form. The most likely explanation was something in the drinks they'd shared in the inne before retiring to the praka's room. Try as he might, he couldn't shift to human or either of his rat forms.

Not that human form would help. He'd woken in the raccoon's bed with his hands and feet bound in leather too strong to break, and looked up just in time to see his lover yawn. Already he was half inside a slick wet gullet, the raccoon-man's disjointed jaws slipping down to his navel with the latest eager gulp. It should be impossible, but unless Cleverfoot stopped or he proved too large he'd end the evening in a swollen furry belly.

A sword would bounce right off his hide when he was in wererat shape, but the same couldn't be said for the raccoon's digestive juices. Ignatz squeaked and struggled as Cleverfoot continued to feed. He'd visited the city sewers before, but that'd been as a were-rat. He didn't want to do it as what used to be a rat, after a trip through the praka's guts!

Like Fastpaw, Cleverfoot the Praka requested the “gulper” ability from the Maker and was granted it. He is another of the very rare dangerously amoral praka who like to eat people. In his case he has a particular taste for Weres and given the size of the various breeds, he's taken to seducing and devouring were-rats. He can smell them even in their human forms and has perfected a potion that freezes them in their current shape. Since he can't just overpower them the way Fastpaw does with gnome women and such, he binds them with leather straps, sometimes while they sleep and sometimes in a bondage game. Were it not for the potion they could easily escape their bindings via simple shape-changing.

Sometimes he clips off their claws and even their incisors teeth too. The leather straps will dissolve in his stomach, potentially freeing them, but by that time they are beyond escaping.
