I honestly think the only reason he went with it, and gave him at least this much of a chance to survive, was because of Tarik's 'selflessness'. Between that, Lichthia's alternate proposed use, and even the slightest of other factors. . . it managed to be just enough to tilt the scales. Had Jaabir's gentleness, Lichthia's idea, or Tarik's concern for his family shifted any way. . . or went unspoken, he would of already been eaten.

I must say, I'm enjoying this series of Jaabir and Lichthia, which considering it's come from an RP and is still mostly in RP format, is something.
Not sure what it is, but something about either the story, the characters, the way you pieced it together in a more-story-than-RP way, or all of the above...just caught my attention and I've been hooked.

Please, to you and your friend Tabitha(and anyone else that might have a say in it), keep up the awesome story telling. ^.^

(I'm almost, but not quite, tempted to say you're stories have hooked me as well as the stories by throat wolf, who wrote the first vore stories I ever read.)

sorry if my 'considering it's from an RP' part sounds rude, I just don't usually read anything to do with RPs...they lose me pretty fast usually, that's all.

Oh, didn't take it that way at all that's understandable.

Thank you very much for the great comment and glad you've been enjoying them. ^^

We can never seem to run out of ideas, this universe will likely be going on for quite some time. And every time there's another character, there's even more material with them being introduced to the other characters. . . and all the fall out involved.

Part of the fun I think, the RPs over a direct story, is its more the characters being placed together in a particular situation. . . and everything just occurring naturally. Never really sure what's going to happen.

Right now, not counting other character's from other players that have had some part in the story: We have Morathi (owl), Tabatha (cat), Jaabir (python), An un-named fox who may or may not come up gain, Tarik (rat), Lichthia (mouse), Jack (sparrow), and Jack (rabbit). Also rats from Tarik's colony that may make an appearance or mention. All of them have very different personalities and are interesting to play in their own right. ^^


There's actually been much more written since the last story part posted before 'The Rat'. Those stories covers gaps and introduce more characters. We actually jumped a little ahead with this one because we really wanted to play it out, so there's other things to write even after the one's we posted yet, before truly continuing after the rat: Though we might some anyway, we have many ideas for what's occurring after this.

It's a bit unordered right now so might be confusing to follow them without us sorting them out into folders on eka's.

At the least you can see what the latest one we are working on is, and follow along even before its posted ^^ We RP in google docs directly, so when we're both posting, its pretty much like a live stream.

Much of the gap since The rat, and the last one posted on Eka's (Good News I think), focuses on Jack (rabbit) and his adjustment to trusting Jaabir. It's a very steady introduction, and takes awhile before he really starts to calm. At the same time, Lichthia had just gotten nearly eaten/preded by a Jackal (occured with another player and adapted the scene into everything): Lichthia is taking to her own way of dealing with the truama (games with jaabir).

After those, then that's when 'For Love' (that we posted ahead of those, much like 'The Rat') occurs. Then there's several misadventures after that.

Some again with another players. Jaabir's eaten prey I think have all been other player's characters, aside from Tarik. . .


We'll need to gather other the RPs that occured with other players as well eventually, some are posted on other chat client's and are harder to track down. We're actually doing one with Izzy ( http://aryion.com/g4/user/Izzy_Koji ) right now. He's 'the gift of squrriel' Jaabir mentions in 'The Rat' at one point. ^^

Actually, come to think of it: any time any sort of other animal was mentioned. As an implied meal or otherwise, it was someone's character.

ah, well, I love reading, but having to sort through things to get them in order puts me off a bit.
If I get desperate(or you decide not to post them) I'll check out the ones that aren't here, but until then, I'll wait for 'em here...that's sorta why I watched ya xP

That's fine ^^ I'll probably get to posting them soon enough now. Just a little busy. Actually I think they 'are' in order if memory serves. It's probably 'ch. 14' to to ch. 19 that covers most of them in order: much of the ones with single titles are duplicates taken out of the larger 'chapters'.

Enjoy reading of fluffy bunnies. Rather, that's the primary of uploads right now ^^

Jaabir/Lichthia's game/games come next, then first owl encounter (for love), nightmare scene, more jack calming, star gazing scene, another game, finding Lichthia's staff / Jack (sparrow) encounter, a more tense situation and fallout related to it, Jack (rabbit having to leave early), small scene with just Lichthia/Jaabir, new owl scene, back to the bunny, Tabatha/Jaabir/Izzy (squirrel) scene, tabatha/Jaabir talking, Jaabir hunting, Jaabir finding a semi-small gazelle (another player from an RP chat client, Molina), Jaabir then Jaabir and Lichthia talking to that gazelle. Jaabir and Lichthia meeting briefly to talk about things with Lichthia staying the night (Jaabir ate a small bird so was fine for the night), Jaabir continuing to stalk Molina for a few stays, gazelle meal, jack/Lichia coming back to the nest, tabatha/jack/lichthia/jaabir scene, lots. more stuff probably. . . then caught up timeline wise to Tarik

Thank you so much, and I know exactly what you mean. I've written some fiction of my own, and when you control everything, you can make the story flow in a way that's difficult in rp, where one person write's a paragraph, then another replies. I'm surprised reading back how some of the chapters work so well given that. Some of them are clunky, idea heavy, but others just feel like a short story.

When we rp, it's more like cooperative story telling. If either of us want to, we can ask to split up the other's paragraph to insert responses or even to interrupt them. I'm learning not to try to include as many ideas in my posts, to give Jack a chance to respond so I can then respond to him. There's generally an opportunity to use the ideas I have later, but they flow more naturally and the story feels fuller then.

Though Lichthia's barren state saddens me to no end, I will not, nay, CANNOT bring myself to stop reading...I ask that you continue your wondrous work until you see fit to end it, I shall be here,

If I were an RPer(or even a writer of any sort, I don't like writing, but I love reading), I'd probably be quite quick to ask for either of you to RP with, alas, I am not...and thus will enjoy your work as it appears.
