swallowing a bully that was picking on her. The previously
confident fox anthro who had pinned her down had made 2 fatal
mistakes. The first was, not accounting for her friends. With Broc
and Brenda hanging around her all the time, she was very well

usual. But he did try to relax a little. He shut his eyes and slowed
his breathing in order to make Brenda and Bree more at ease with his
mood. Just because he was still on guard didn’t mean he wanted them

women, with their stomachs gurgling with the food he had cooked for

The State Fighter’s tournament was
about a month away so Brenda would support Broc and walk home with
him after practice. Thankfully at this point they allowed him in to
the showers on a daily basis so he was clean and not smelling like

asked as they walked towards his house after school. After that day
she had made it a point not to eat any humans so she wouldn’t get
tempted and, because of her experience in a naga’s belly she very
rarely ate living things at all. Broc was still being slightly
distance and taking their friendship considerably longer over the
last couple weeks. She had just recently been allowed to go in his
garage again but didn’t even ask to go in his house.

Broc took a deep breath before
exiting his hiding spot and entering the school again. Everything was
cleared for his return and while Principal Kelly didn’t say what
she told the other students and faculty it was clear it wasn’t much
as they were barely noticing him. He didn’t want to start off with
doing anything rash so he went to class like before. During his class
with Brenda she was so shocked at his sudden and unexplained presence

starting to like his solitary life. He could manage his finances more

It took a while for Broc to get used
to his new life. He was right and had to work much harder to avoid
fights. As Fight Team practice was technically part of school he
couldn’t let out any aggression there either. After a week of them
trying to get him to fight back they put him on his old status as a
glorified punching bag of a human. However it was all worth it, to
him, as he had a new friend and to be honest his first friend. Brenda

were all seated in the stands and were mumbling about each of the
teams. The fighting team never got cheerleaders because of their lack
in winning so Brenda sat for her first fighting team event. Even
though there was a small amount of betting involved and she never

The events of that night and day
were overshadowed with the start of a new week. Brenda sat with her

class she had with him she tried to catch him after and before class
but he was absent until the bell rang for class to start and
afterwards, by the time she looked down and glanced his way to talk
