"My, what a predicament you've found yourself in..."

You looked up from the top of your boss' desk, trembling on your knees as the woman towering above you looks down on you in amusement. It wasn't that you didn't expect the shrink ray to work-- you were hoping it would. It was just that you didn't expect it to shrink you so small, nor did you think your boss would find you experimenting on yourself.

"I've done quite a bit of reading on this project." She smiles, drumming her fingers just beside where you are kneeling. The tip of her tongue slides over her pink lips, moistening them to a shine. "Making living matter extraordinarily small and extraordinarily resistant to damage. It's a very exciting development."

She smiles at you, casting her enormous shadow across the desk, and over you. "It's against company policy for employees to test our equipment on themselves. In all honesty, I should fire you on the spot. But..."

You're not sure you believe it, but you see the slightest shade of red on her cheeks. Is she blushing? "...but... I'll be honest. It's long been a fantasy of mine to play with a tiny person. To let them walk all over me. And then..." Her throat twitches; she's probably not even aware of it. "...to swallow them alive and let them explore inside of me."

"If your experiment works as the white papers on it says it should, you should be able to survive inside me without being hurt. Alternately, if it didn't, you might find yourself digested alive. Neither of us have any way of knowing."

She offers you her hand, laid palm-up on top of her desk. "But those are the options I give you: immediate termination, or really becoming the ultimate guinea pig for your project."
