"Every male who encounters Tomie becomes obsessed with her and eventually kills and dismembers her. But Tomie is not human, and is always reborn..."
-------
As I was reading the third volume to Junji Ito's Tomie (you might remember him from such twisted classics as Uzumaki and Gyo), I was struck with a sudden urge to tell a story of what would happen if a Tomie got involved with a guy who decides to eliminates Tomies in a, far different, manner than normal.
It was one of those cases where I wrote the story in a very short time because I was so entranced in the concept, plus it gave me a chance to try my hand at horror and first person narration. I hope I pulled off both well enough!

Well, the ending was hilariously anti-climactic.

2spooky, indeed.

I've been meaning to read some Junji Ito for the longest time I swear. That guy makes nightmare fuel straight out the 7-11 and me being the fetishist for the creepy means I gotta check that stuff out.

That aside, this story was a wonderful read after a long silence. Even though it's your first try at it, you did well with the first person narration. The multiple Tomies made me go 'dafuq' for a bit, but that's largely due to me having not read the source material :V

All in all twas a good read~

I think it being first person this time worked out for the better, since the reader and the protagonist would both be confused when they see a girl identical to Tomie.
Most of the time however I just end up writing about series most people haven't seen haha.

Imagine someone put a tomie's nails or something into a blender and fed the blender to a tomie. assuming she can't cut the wires... we have a possibility for infinite tomies.

Junji Ito does as much in the Tomie stories, though usually the victims are just poor normal folks. Even a drop of blood or lock of hair is enough to spawn a Tomie, and whatever twisted idea you can come up with I assure you Ito has already drawn (two words: Tomie sake)!
