Her name is 8. Thats all. She has no memory of what her name is, her background, her family, anything. Its all blank to her. 8 is merely the name she went by, since her Freezing Chamber was numbered 8, the only chamber that was not broken, destroyed, and corpses the only thing that populated them. She had looked on her left breast and found a strange bar-code that was imprinted on her skin. No matter what she did, she could not wash it away.

The only thing she knows from the heavily fragmented computer screen is she was part of some project or experiment, and later, learning that the nation and government she was in is now defunct. Naked, she scrapped whatever clothing she could find and armed herself. She was a natural shooter, possibly the only clue to her purpose.

The country she is in now has split between waring factions, and going over the battlelines is difficult and dangerous. Thats not even going into the rebels, renegades, and brigades she must deal with.

But even as she took jobs and did missions for people, her overall objective has not changed. Learning who she was likely is impossible, but she can still try and figure out why she was in the chamber and for what purpose.

You know whats something rpgs don't often cover? Modern era stuff. Very rarely does a rpg take place in a modern era setting. Fallout is more of a post apocalyptic setting though, I mean the world is still civilized and what not.

The closest rpgs ever come to doing anything close to modern era is if it takes place some time in the future or in a post-apocolypse scenario.

So yeah, wanted to do something like this, especially after remembering Tank Girl.

Also, she looks like Amy, largely cause I had her in mind. Perhaps she is Amy in the story.
