In the end Nyoka did get away, somewhat the worse for wear. Luckily, her sister and a few of her kobolds were nearby and able to provide first aid. Battered as Nyoka is she's still a lot better off than the first few bunnies she met, who by now are a big mass of squishy partly digested meat and bone.
Maybe she'll learn her lesson about hanging around to eat one meal after another. But probably not. She is a greedy skunky-snake. 83

Uvizi and Nyoka are the daughters of a skunk and a snake that looks like a snake version of nyoka

Great series! How long will a meal like this keep her sated? Also, exactly how many bunnys did she manage to gulp down?

She ate four bunnies, one of which was as big as the three put together. Since she has a much faster metabolism than a true snake, she could be hungry in a week, though she could live off the fat from this big meal for a while past that.

Because the mother and father were different species. Uvuzi inherited a lot more of the father's humanoid shape, whereas Nyoka looks like a furry version of her mother.

Well, there are things too big or dangerous to eat, but she'd avoid them anyway. She hasn't met anyone yet that tugged at her heartstrings.

Most of my preds are highly secretive and wouldn't take chances like Nyoka does here.
