After going through a half dozen schools in his young life Hearsay has realized that his fellow otters are often not respected as the wonderful creatures they are, and worse. His path was clear, revenge would be silly, what needed to be done was support and butress his kind through brotherhood and unity, thus the inception of the first chapter of the Gamma Upsilon Lambda Pi's. A Secret Society that is Part Fraternity, Part gentleman's club, and lots of otter advocacy.

Each full member of the GULP's are issued an insignia ring, its stylish though hardly opulent or gaudy and a indisputable mark of belonging, however woe to the non otter who wears a ring.. because not only did they likely either steal or loot from a devoured otter they have the audacity to flaunt such an act.

The club has many rules, as a free form sort of organization they are mostly thought of and discaraded before they can even be written down but some have stuck around.

1)If an otter is to be devoured, as sometimes must be done, it should be done by a fellow otter, the honor to nourish one owns kind.
2)Share the joy of otterness with the world, be it through transformation or ingestion.. being part of a handsome otter is a fine fate, do not mourn for those who become your flesh.
3)Support and Care for your fellow otters, bring them into the fold, take care of them. Share your possessions freely for they are just things, compared to the love of your fellow mustlid.
4) Do not reveal the existence of the GULP or the contents of the chapter house to the un initiated less they are ingested....


Though each chapter house is different they tend to share many features, the formost is that they are safe houses, folks can always hide out in them, confident that their fellows will protect them from the outside world(However..protection from members... not ALWAYS the case), the chapter houses likewise are always selected to have plenty of comfortable sleeping space for the members, often being converted apartment buildings, estates, or plantation style territories.. There are a few public use rooms of course, a normal dinning room, semi private dining rooms, kitchen and so on. The group also provides a strong band of companions and freindship that can be looked up in a good number of large cities, though not every otter is a member, its worth keeping your eyes out.
