That is to say, any number of small creatures meet their demise elsewhere than my gullet, but they do no good for my hunger.

As to your second question, I ate an elk that was the friend of my cousin, and a zebra brought by a relative from oversees (though certainly not in the same sitting!) I appreciate the taut, stuffed feeling a good-sized meal offers, but would not repeat either of those. They were too noisy, too messy, and entirely too *still* once inside me - after all, they did not go down in one piece. I much prefer medium-sized varmints: foxes, small dogs, large cats, waterfowl, youngling gators, etc. Raccoon are generally just right.

This should, I believe, also serve to answer the questions of Kidclef and ublover1 of Eka's.

To Edward Hyena of FurAffinity, I would add that I think forward to future meals rather than fixate upon the past.

To the anonymous Tumblrite, it has more to do with the size of the creature than the quantity. I appreciate the final moments between myself and my prey as intimate experiences, and prefer to focus my attention on one at a time. Occasionally a member of my staff may be present, or I might be amused to share the moment and the prey with a friend.
