If I'm being honest, despite my avatar, I'm actually not that well acquainted with The Legend of Zelda, but I absolutely love your art style and this is so damn adorable.
I mean, I'm familiar with a lot of the characters and some of the story, but I don't know too much about it. (´～｀ヾ)

That's kind of how I envision him, yes, at least in most circumstances. I'm not sure eating people would come naturally to him. But on the other hand, he's a pretty huge nutjob (and also has the canon-ability to size-shift! seriously, that's a thing)-- so in the case that he did do it, I doubt he'd stay calm about the whole thing... hence why I drew him looking rather nervous.
He'd probably flip his shit and spaz out a minute or two after this sequence, actually. :'D

Yay! Zant the hero of the twilight princess game! My favorite part was where he grabbed Midna and threw her into that blast from the light beast, thus deep frying her and saving hyrule from her evil clutches... At least that's how it goes for me because he was a far more favorable character then "Booty Mc-Imp".
...Actually, what has it been with the last few Zelda games anyways. I'm totally straight, but the last few male villains they've had... Zant's sharp teeth as he whispered In Midna's ear, Ghirahim's tongue at the screen... little too much of a shiver down my spine...

The fact that he's a villain is actually a big draw for me, as it is with 90% of the characters I crush on. So if Zant was the hero, I don't know quite what I'd think... but if he kept the same psycho personality, I'd probably still dig it! ... Also, sorry to burst your bubble, but I actually really like Midna. I like the characters from TP in general a lot, it seems. ;v;
I definitely agree with you about the sharp teeth though. Definitely. Yes. DEFINITELY. >V>;;;

To be fair, most of my hate stems from how she treats a guy that she is asking for help from. I'm pretty sure she gets a bit better personality wise. Zant was straight forward, he's kind of gone insane, but at the same time his presence when seen is still... powerful I guess? I also didn't play past too far past the "Midna roast" scene, so I'm probably missing out on some stuff...
...Although considering how she's acting in Hyrule warriors, I'm guessing no, not really. The only real enjoyment I get out of her is noting that her body is very 'pear shaped'. Aka, biggest feature is her ass and the biggest feature of her personality is her "ass-ness".
...and then there is the issue of how her figure reminds me of a turkey dinner, especially with the way her legs taper off and mumblemumblecookingvoremutter.
Still can't wait to unlock Zant, he looks quite fun.

Villains are awesome. And the character design is one of the strongest defining traits in LoZ - where Mario has the easy-to-learn-hard-to-master gameplay and the family-friendly atmosphere, The Legend of Zelda has those characters that are just... perfect. Just slightly off - noone is normal - but all these little character traits make them memorable. I am in awe every time I see a new Zelda game. The atmosphere is amazing, the music is beautiful, the puzzles are fun and the stories are compelling (usually, at least most of those are true in a Zelda title), but the character designs themselves - with immaculate attention to detail - is what really impresses me. From the way their hair is shaped to the little ticks they have when they move or speak (Tingle, Tingle, Kooloo-Limpa!) is perfect. Some of the industry's best work goes into these games.
...just my two cents. Sorry that got long-winded. .-.

Hesitant is something I really rather like, even though not all of my typical "favorite" predators would act that way. I'm not even 100% certain that Zant would, but it felt right for his quirky demeanor. ;v;
I'm always really happy to hear that my expressions turned out well, so thank you for that, too!

He's crazy and he's fantastic and also pretty hot in his weird way, if you ask me? >v>; So I kinda had to make this, even if nobody else would.
