And this sums up the mindset of almost everyone on this site!

I really love plant Vore: it's always held a special place in my heart ever since the old Crash Bandicoot games where you could be eaten and swallowed whole by the piranha plants. (They would even spit out the tires of your car in CTR, which I loved even more) and you do it so well! Terra looks good, as always, however, there are a few... Gripes with this picture.

Ok, just one: the plant. I can't tell what it is, and that's a huge bummer for me. I know Terra is the focal point, so this complaint doesn't matter much, but still... I like to see the pretty flowers ^.^

Maybe I should look into Botany...

Anyway, it's a fun picture! I just think it could be better.

Please don't hate me.

Did it ever cross your mind that maybe it's just an imaginary plant that doesn't really exist? XD

Nonetheless! The armount of detail I put into my backgrounds highly depends on my mood. Whenever I haven't drawn anything in a while I use these more simple kinda pictures to get my drawing groove back on. As starting to work on a horribly detailed pic after a break would just lead into frustration and an art block. XD

So instead of considering your...''cricticism'' as a gripe. I'd say it's more like just a neutral observation. And I'm all for improvement ideas anyways. So relax.

Yeah, I suppose it was more just an... Observation. I really like plants, so I like to see them in drawings! I understand what you mean, though. I do the same kind of thing with my stories!

X3 Yupyup. I try to not get agitated over comments. I have been posting stuff on sites online for several years. So I'm kinda used to all kinds of comments.

So yeah. I like plants too. I grow carnivorous plants as a hobby. And I do greatly enjoy drawing them too ofcourse. But ya know. It's important to know your own interests and limits for each picture ya make. Trying to devote your life to every picture ya make is like slowly stabbing yourself to death with a spoon.
