If there were a high school for abstract forces/concepts, the yearbook picture entries of UNLUCKY and ILL-TIMED would look a lot like poor Oobah and Blahr.
The source of their unfounded confidence and haphazard decision making can be traced back to the twin's youth. When the sisters were but five winter's old, they had an unfortunate encounter with their tribe's shamanistic priestess, Undak, who spitefully predicted how each would die. The old witch portended that Blahr would drink herself to death during a brief tryst with a lactating hyper giantess and Oobah would die in a tragic jungle-gym accident...in which she would suffocate under own breasts.
Some years later, their tribal therapist suggested that the prediction could be a blessing instead of the temporal fate-rape they'd perceived it as. He reasoned that since they already knew how they'd die...they'd be unkillable in all other situations.
Thusly shielded, the twins went forth to seek their fortunes...well, to seek other people's fortunes to steal (providing that no large lactating women or playgrounds were involved).
A short time after Oobah and Blahr left their tribe, it was shockingly discovered that Undak was unable to accurately predict the future. The priestess, like so many members of the divine ministerial order, thoroughly enjoyed the party lifestyle, and had long ago lost her mind from the harsh and cumulative effects of monastic night clubbing.
If they'd been privy to this information, the twins might not have roused the feathered fury of heaven's favorite carnivore.
On the plus side, since they were deprived the chance to perpetrate their murderous machinations...maybe the twins will squeak into heaven on a technicality. If anyone can get them there...it's AngelGryph.
Thank you very much for the commission, Angel. ♥

It's a hard knock life out there ... in there ... for an ogre.

This seems, that this big chicken get them. :D
Posted by FrostByte 9 years ago Report
No doubt. I raised chickens when I was younger. Let me tell ya, if I ever came across one the size of AngelGryph, I'd be scared out of my friggen MIND! Normal sized ones can be pretty nasty. I once saw a hen eat a small snake. 0.0 Raptors of the barnyard.

I hope we see more of the Ogress sisters.

They're fun characters to work with. When I find another project they're suited for, I'll be sure to squeeze'em in. =)

Veeeery nice! Always nice to see your art, even when the pred ISN'T a busty babe...or at least, isn't currently in her busty babe shape!

That's one of the great things about Angel...she's got something for EVERYONE! I wonder, if AngelGryph gorges to her maximum capacity and then transforms into her smaller form...how would her belly handle the change? That's something I'd LOVE to see. I'm happy you enjoyed the pic, Klin. =)

Mm, it's actually more likely that they wake up the next morning thinking it was just some weird shared nightmare. Even though that doesn't explain why their weapons and clothes have dissolved into acidic sludge, the resurrection doesn't restore them.
And then they'd probably go out and attempt to rob the wrong being again. ^^
Lovely work, Frosty!

But yet their unwillingness TO see the error of their ways IS the funny part ;)
Posted by FrostByte 9 years ago Report
Hehe...absolutely, Angel! That's the twins major character flaw...instead of realizing just how lucky they really are, they'd simply be pissed off to have lost their possessions and would instantly start prowling for someone to rob. =)
Thank you again for the commission, hon. I'm so happy you enjoyed the comic. It was a blast to work on. ♥

Gorgeous! Simply gorgeous, the swallowing sequences were excellent!
Posted by FrostByte 9 years ago Report
Aww...thank you, Reiko. The swallowing sequence was tricky, but it helps that I'm friends with a certain special doggy who has practically authored a predatory equivalent to the Kama Sutra. ♥

A fantastic belly as always, my friend! :)

Thank you very much, bud. Gryphons and dragons have a LOT in common...so I should be all warmed up for my NEXT project. =)

The description is like something out of Discworld.
Posted by FrostByte 9 years ago Report
Aww...that's one of the nicest comparisons I've ever gotten. While I've not read anywhere NEAR as many of the Discworld books as I should have (there's soooo many of them) I'm still a huge fan of Terry Pratchett. He left the fantasy world with an impactful legacy.

Ooh, very good gryph! And adorable ogresses still~
Posted by FrostByte 9 years ago Report
Thank you, Gloom. Nature may not have gifted the twins with "common sense" but at least she made'em cute. =P

Ahahahahahahahaha, ogre confident, ahahahaha
Love the backstory on these two BTW, FrostByte. Sure sets up their personalities really well. Though how they survived this long with that fatal flaw... ahahahaha
Posted by FrostByte 9 years ago Report
Aww...thank you so much, ImRhys! I LOVE it when people read (and hopefully enjoy) my little prose. As for the twin's survival strategy, it can be summed up in two words; dumb luck...with an emphasis on DUMB! What they lack in brains, they make up for in shenanigans. =)
