When DWMA's top student / assassin Black☆Star gets shrunken down and in the possession of his friend Soul Eater, things go from bad to worse when the living weapon makes his intentions clear - he's had it up to here with the boisterous ninja's constant talk about how much of a 'big man' he is! He decides to shut him up for good the only way how...by going from Soul Eater to STAR Eater!
What has possessed the white-haired teen to do such a thing? Will Black☆Star escape this slimy chamber of doom? Tune in next time to find out!
WOOP Another comic - this one was long enough to warrant two pages, wowza!
I was thrilled to work on this one, especially since Soul here is the pred. How could I deny such a request~?
Also, while working on this I realized that depending on what quality level I'm doing (be it Fully shaded, flats or B&W like here) I take an entirely different approach to drawing slime effects. For a fully-shaded piece the slimes are saved for last but here, I decided to incorporate them directly into the lineart itself. For the level of 'coloring' I think it works very well. :)
Also, I'm slowly improving on my halftoning skills thanks to Clip Studio's capabilities with them and getting them juuuust the way I like it. <3

Saw a gif of Soul actually eating something, vore-like, in the anime, so this is pretty rad. Cute, uncaring, nonchalant predators are pretty great.
