You shake your head at the arachne, explaining that you'd rather have Elykae around before she starts messing with your head. Looking at Tassri, you have your doubts that she did something to the deergirl. It's hard to see bulges through her chitin body, but it's still easy to see movement. Even so, you're not ruling it out completely. Until Elykae returns, you're going to stay careful.
"Oh, now you don't trust me?" She asks. You explain that you don't want to be dazed or something if Elykae shows up and needs to explain something important. "I suppose that makes sense. Although..." She gives you a smile. "There's little reason for us to not have some fun while we wait, right?"
She doesn't give up. You decide to appeal to another part of her to get her to calm down. You explain that you'd like to get some breakfast before starting anything. Besides, you figure she should be getting quite hungry. "Ah, yes. You're right. Since you've been denying me little snacks, I have grown quite hungry. So what do you have here?" You admit that you don't have any food here in your apartment. "Then I assume that means we need to go get some. Unless you're willing to offer yourself up, that is." She gives a chuckle as she says that. You sigh, shaking your head again. Her sense of humor is a bit frustrating at times.
You explain that there's a place nearby where you can get something to eat, so the two of you get dressed to go. Before leaving, you do leave a note in case Elykae returns before you do. You remember that there's a food stand near the Market District that's pretty good, so that's where the two of you go.
Nothing of too much interest happens during your meal there, though you do learn that the spider eats quite a lot. You end up having to order a fair amount of food to satisfy her. You can tell it's been a while since she's had a proper cooked meal though. She seems to enjoy it quite a lot.
With breakfast over with, you head back to your apartment to see if Elykae has returned. Heading inside, you find the agent sitting in the front room.
"You're back." Elykae looks to you. You say the same to her and ask where she went. "There was something I needed to check. I'm afraid nothing came of it though. It's nothing to worry about." You think for a moment, and decide to explain that the last time you brought someone to Erada and they wandered off to do their own thing, it led to you getting ambushed and nearly killed. You tell the deergirl that you'd appreciate it if she didn't hide stuff from you. "I... I see." She pauses for a moment. "I was checking on a meeting place, to see if my partner, the lamia, had arrived yet. However, it appears she hasn't yet..."
You sense that she's concerned for her ally and ask her about it. "No, she's... She should be fine." You note that she doesn't sound confident, which causes Elykae to be silent for a moment. "When we first met, it was not my idea to assault you as we did. I was against the idea, but she... she's more forceful in her approach, and began the ambush against my wishes. At that point, I had to follow along. We cannot show any form of weakness in our teamwork." You think back to the night she ambushed you and Bluebell. "Regardless, I admit that I am concerned that she will do something overly aggressive and end up hurting herself or others needlessly."
You ask where she would likely be. "I cannot say for certain. Meeting here was one of our fallback plans. It doesn't matter though. We have other matters to attend to. It would be wise to give her more time to arrive before we consider her missing." She's probably right. You have both the Commander's Letter and Marcus's Letter to deliver.
"The deer is here now." Tassri speaks up, now that you're finished speaking with Elykae. "I would like it if you held up your end of the bargain, you know. You have been regularly denying my whims and delaying my experiments." She actually sounds a little frustrated with you. "I can assure you these first tests will not be dangerous in any way. I simply need to get a feel of your resistance. It won't impair any work you have today. Let me do this test on the both of you, and we shall be good for the day, hm?"
"Can it not wait until we finish our important errands?" Elykae asks. "I understand that we made a deal, but we still have-"
"A deal you have yet to hold true to, yes." Tassri crosses her arms. "Had I known I would have to deal with so many delays, I wouldn't have released that elf girl so willingly. I'm starting to regret that now."
"I..." Elykae hesitates, then turns to you. "I'll let you decide, Floria. I suppose it isn't of greatest urgency that we hurry..." You feel that the cervidae is still very hesitant about submitting to Tassri's experiments. However, you worry that Tassri might become aggressive if you deny her much further.

So, gonna just ask some stuff. I'm working with my roommate (who is very good with programming and stuff) to build a proper website for ARPG, instead of the simple Wordpress site I currently use. You guys should let me know if there's any sort of features or whatever you think would be useful to see on the site. :V

Yeah, that's my attitude. We were gonna have to do this sooner or later and it really looks like we're not gonna be able to bargain for any more "later" at this point.

Let Tassri do her thing, but I dunno about the snek joining the party. If snek is as forceful and brash about things as Myla is, then when or if we meet back up things would probably gonna go horribly horribly wrong

The Lamia lass did not look like she was being very aggressive in our confrontation before. Then again looks are not facts. I am neutral about her joining the band for now.

Elykae is back! Aww, she missesher snek friend.
As for Tassri's demands, then, sure I think it's time. Let's let her do what she wants now.
On one hand, letting her know of our resistance will make it easier for her to do something sneky later. but anyways I'd say it's worth it.
If Elykae doesn't want to do this right now, let's suggest that we go first, then we go to do our business, and when we come back, Elykae gets her session before we go to sleep. We also remember to suggest the whole "learning from her" thing. We still don't know how Tassri feels about having an apprentice because we have forgotten to ask her about it.
After the excersises with Tassri are settled, it's time to go se Caiti and the Commander, and Gina. so many letters to deliver, so many people to catch up with!
Should we have Tassri come with us to chat with these people, or should we let her wander off on her own? what about Elykae? being seen with a Grentalian spy could put us in trouble later on.

Apologize to Tassri and thank her for her patience. Let her know you enjoyed the meal with her. Go ahead and submit yourself to her experiments, then Elykae after.

I agree with this. I think Rlykae should go first though. If she goes first, we might learn somethings from her, as well as how the experiment is done. Should probably take off the magic resistant armor as well, make it easier for her.

I've been saying it and tassri herself confirms it also, we've constantly been compromising or changing or outright denying any of her plans. I'd be pretty annoyed too at this point. Just let her do her practices and without giving her rules seriously we can't keep trying to bargain like this when we have no solid ground TO bargain with, we aren't close to tassri enough yet to matter much.
I would apologize to her though for the delay as well as appearing to refuse tassri's wishes and that it isn't our intent to be that way.
If we keep adding these "buts" to our interactions with tassri it shows an obvious mistrust on our part.... :/

I mean. We do mistrust her, and if she didn't ecpect that from us given the circumstances under which the party met her, she's a lot less clever than she seems. It isn't unreasonable of us to have asked her to wait until a time when we had an observer and wouldn't have to worry about being temporarily broken.

Let us take the first round of experiments. But tell Elykae to step in, if she has a feeling the spider messes with us too much.
Also +1 for recruiting the lamia, we need someone big and strong enought to easily counter the spider if she tries something.

Ah yes the bride, er... proposed bride Lamia lass. I fear she may track down and find Lady Myla's party. Seeing bluebell and attacking them in their sleep. Unfortunately we are not in a position to counteract this.
As for Madam Tassri she does have her points. Although mylady has denied her some here and there she still has acted out. For now allow this game of hers. I am concerned that she wants to test mylady's resistance however... Let it be only one subject for now. We still need an edge in case Tassri does try and turn now. The evidence suggests she is not going to this time. This or my eyes are distracted by some unseen force even they cannot see.

- Yes to giving Tassri some rations

As for website suggestions, here's some:
- Use a single database to track stats, so that they don't have to be entered on multiple pages; Populate pages with data from the DB.
- Quick Stats at 100% should be colored dark green
.. 51% ~ 99% should be black
.. 25% ~ 50% should be dark yellow
.. 0% ~ 24% should be blood red

No, now is perfectly fine. Admit it's unsettling to have someone mess with you, so perhaps that is why? Though breakfast and wanting Elykae to return was not a delaying tactic.

We did say we wanted to wait until Elykea was back. Head back home and let Tassri do her experiments, and of course apologize for seemingly putting her on the back burner xD.
This would be an excellent time to mention our interest in her magic as well. I know a few people brought it up recently! Perhaps taking an interest in her abilities will smooth over the mild frustration she seem's to have!
Offer Elykea a shoulder to lean on as well. She is on edge to be sure xD

I'm thinking if we mention our interest in magic as you say it might cause her to further question why we haven't allowed her to do hers yet. We may instead want to mention it like we might want to learn mind magic so she could feel powerful and knowledgeable as opposed to more frustrated.
Otherwise I agree with what you have said.

For basic testing, sure, let's get it done. However if we're doing testing, we need to make sure proper records and measurements are kept. Get a lab notebook so everything can be tracked properly.

Well, now that we actually know the deer is safe and Tassri has told us of how these experiments will be, perhaps it may be best to send Elykae to do the errands while we endure the test. I know I said before to have Elykae around, but we do need to get stuff done. I would not wish to have it that we go and the deergirl stays, as it seems we're doing this for leaving us with her earlier and I don't know how Tassri is with Elykae (other than annoyed, but she seems that way with us nearly as much).
I do not suggest we stall this any further. Tassri has been thoroughly patient with us. Just one test to get this done with will be fine. I would still suggest we try to coax her into letting us keep our accessories and clothes, but I feel they're gonna be discarded to accurately determine our resistance. :/

My biggest fear, is someone walking in on us when Tassri is doing her thing. We should hang a sign or post a note saying "Do not disturb", or "Session in progress".

At a minimum, the apartment's front door should be locked and the windows closed, to deter Bluebell from flying in. ^_^

Having a snake girl would be a good thing to have. I mean she did sneak up on us good so I say yes to snake girl. Beside, we might not have a chance to say no really if she is Elykae ally.

Appologize to Tassri. The delays of her experiments have only been meant to help avoid problems that may arise from any misunderstanding within the groups. With everyone present and on the same page. We want the group to grow to trust her just as we want Tassri to trust our group. Surprise and secret experiments when people are alone only breeds mistrust. Now Tassri may conduct her experiment on us first, once completed, she can then conduct it on Elykae.
As for Tassris whims, while we do like a bit of fun ourselves,but messing with anyone involved in the Town guard can invite a great more deal of trouble than it's worth.

A deal is a deal and the present is about as good as any time. Besides, after eating all that food, she ought to be a little too full to digest us.
Have the snake join us? Well, ok, but it sounds dicy. Now if we had the option before we had to put ourselves at the spider's mercy, the snake would be a lot more assurance, but now her help will be too late or unneeded. And she may cause problems. Elykae will have to assure us she can keep the snake under control. But we already have a party where everybody is a potential enemy, and the snake would just make that worse. And we would have to pay for her passage to the Empire.
If the snake just shows up, we will likely have to take her, but we shouldn't go looking.

We should ask Elykae for the name of the lamia and if she has some kind of code phrase to identify as a friend. It would be a shame if we meet her without the deer and she just runs away, because she doesn’t trust us.
Also only light experiments for the moment, we have enough time on the airship for the more complex ones.
Oh and it would be funny if the experiments trigger a partly vision of a certain Decepio cleric.

Okay, I don't think we need to pretend we don't mistrust her. That was probably obvious from the beginning, and has only become more obviousas time progressed. We don't need to show that we trust her; we need to show that we were not negotiating in bad faith.
