So that's the reason Lyra is so obsessed with hands. To be able to become a literal puppet master. You see, her cutie mark being the lyre that it is is actually symbolic. The metal frame represents life and it's structures, but the strings represent the manipulation of others. It all makes sense now! (That is probably one of the biggest bouts of BS I've spouted in a while xD )
