This story is from about eight months back, only a few months into me actually starting writing for this community.

This one holds a special place in my heart because it was part of a story exchange between me and fragbers. The prompt they sent me was about "an investigator, detective, or the like being sent in undercover as prey for the most dangerous mission of their life. If they get detected, one gulp will silence her forever, and the mission has no hope of succeeding."

It was a fun one to write with plenty of delicious teasing.
