The arid desert of Equestria was deadly. Many pony

travellers

and explorers and discovered that, the ones that lived able to tell the tale. Yet Ponies still travelled there to settle new towns and build lives for themselves, creating places to call home.

was the largest of these towns, having

"Great training out there today Soarin'" Spitfire said as she took her Wonderbolt outfit off.
 
"Thanks Spitfire." Soarin' replied, placing his outfit in his locker and pulling out some deterrent and spraying it under his hoofs.
 
"I'm impressed, usually your sloppy for early morning training, but you appear to have a ton of energy. Are you trying a new workout program?" Spitfire asked.

Las Pegasus, a city filled with wonder and gambling. Ponies lost more money here then a other city in Equestria. Casinos and clubs lined the streets, alcohol swimming through the streets. Of course, with all the gambling, came the organized crime. Illegal betting, races and fights were everywhere, with the royal guards struggling to keep up with all the lawbreaking.
 
But deep within the cities underbelly, there was a wrestling tournament. This was it, the big one. The most powerful, most
